Name: Kaya De'Crolie
Alias: Kaya Rose
Age: Roughly 500
Species: Vampire
Height: 5'7
Weight: 130 lbs
Family:
Head of Bloodline - De'Crolie
Creator - Hiran De'Crolie
Blood Brother - Tico De'Crolie
Partner(Spouse/Significant Other): Widow of Vansoi Tureaux
Hair Color: Black and Purple
Eye Color: Red
Build: Average height and slender build, but with some noticeable muscle definition to her thighs and legs.
Other Traits:
Pink scars cover her entire body from the neck down. A long black scabbed scar starts on the inner side of her left breast to her belly button.
She was changed with hair down to her knees, and has to cut her hair daily to keep it from staying that way.
Appearance:
Her human Indian descent has been fading more and more to the vampiric bloodline. Her skin still has a dark auburn touch, but with blues and purples undertones to show the inhumane side. Her eyes are bright and blood red, a trait that is a direct result of her bloodline as her entire family have the same shade.
Her hair is thick, wavy, and almost unmanageable. It starts at the roots at a rich and shiny ebony, but slowly fades into a violet at the tips. She keeps it at a shoulder's length, but since she was turned when her hair was long and reaching her knees, she cuts it daily. Sometimes she doesn't bother, sometimes it's much shorter than expected.
Her body is slender and graceful, but with thick muscles in her thighs and legs, as she was once a field worker.
Having a love for fashion, Kaya is usually wearing the hottest trends and is usually never wearing the same outfit more than twice. The only consistency in her appearance is the purple gem choker around her neck, a gift from her late husband.

Personality:
Despite the anger and rage that's covered on her skin, Kaya is bright and bubbly in her personality. She tries to find the best in people. She can be sarcastic and witty with friends and strangers, sentimental with those needing tenderness, and angry towards those who do her wrong. She has a full range that sometimes makes people dizzy, but she finds having a wide range helps her deal with her own depression and bitter past.
Relationships:
Vansoi; Kaya encountered her late husband by chance when she fled to Europe after her scare with Erakin. Van’s fledgling took Kaya in and the royal bloodline offered her sanctuary. At first the two could not stand each other, but over time the two found the other curious, and started to spend more time together (much to the dismay of Sophie). It didn’t take long then for a relationship to blossom, and within a year they were engaged, marriage soon after. On the day of their fifth wedding anniversary, Vansoi was murdered by De’Crolie as a means to harm Kaya and remind her of her place. The death of a royal was blamed on Kaya, and she was ostracized by most of the bloodlines in the European sanctions, despite Van’s will leaving her his fortune and plea for her safety. Kaya took back to the states after this.
Rye; Kaya first met Rye when looking for a home in Boston, and the wolf had put up an ad asking for roommates. For the first few months while Kaya was trying to find her place in the city, they lived together with a couple other wolves in a halfway house. It didn’t take long for Kaya to get dragged into he chemical warfare that Rye’s pack was involved in, and helped with the destruction of a wolf/vampire hybrid that was terrorizing the city. The leaders of the pack disbanded soon after, though Rye and Kaya kept their friendship and Rye offered many of her services when Kaya was building her club. Kaya cares very fondly of her little wolf and will protect her fiercely. They currently still live together, though now it’s on the second floor of a third story house turned into apartment floors. Rye is the manager of the club.
Erakin; By twist of fate, the scowling wolf saw Kaya in a tough predicament when first trying to make her way through the city of Boston ten years ago (around 2006) and decided to lend his services in helping her out. It started badly in the sense that the pack trying to murder Kaya decided that Erakin was also going to be on their shit list for turning on his kind, and the two spent most of their time hiding trying to figure a way to get out of total annihilation. Unfortunately, Kaya felt herself becoming emotional towards the man and Hiran sensed it. She knew that leaving the city was going to be best option, cutting all ties and leaving Hiran unable to sense who the werewolf was before anything else happened, so she abandoned Erakin to deal with the pack as she fled… to Europe. Leaving the country led to the wolf never being able to figure out what had happening to the vampire, and she knew she could never initiate contact unless she wanted Hiran to figure out who he was. It was a deep regret, but Kaya always hoped that her rash actions kept the man alive.
Only now being back in the city does she have the chance to possibly find out what happened to him.
Morrigan: A truce was started between the owner of the Black Rose and the alpha of the Greybacks. Kaya desired protection that the pack could promise, while she in turn could offer viable information about vampire activity and the goings on of city life when her club attendees chatted. It’s a strained relationship as Kaya finds herself unsure if dealing with the pack too much would expose herself back to the vampire world (as she has been living under an alias so royals and provincial bloodlines can’t find her).
Sai; At first the relationship between these two started off wonderfully. Kaya always appreciates someone with a sense of humor and good spirits. And even helped the man starts the bases with his own company, from getting him into contact with contractors and how to fill out necessary paperwork with the city. Unfortunately Kaya did not know that the business was for a strip club… right down the street from her. It hurt her relationship with the contractors she once worked with, then Sai tried to pawn off her own customers in her own establishment. Him not understanding why she would find this upsetting was probably the worst offense, and has been barred from entering her establishment since. She’ll still talk to Sai if she sees him, though she currently has no interest in the friendship they once shared.
Hiran; Kaya’s maker, brutalizer, attacker, and all things negative. He is the one responsible for Kaya’s scars, her tendency to have a quick temper when she feels someone may do her injustice, and overreaction to negative emotions such as yelling or clenching a fist. Kaya also blames Hiran for Vansoi’s death. If it hadn’t been for his jealously, her husband never would have been targeted. The one thing Kaya vows to do against this man is to end him for she thinks this will finally give her a sense of peace in her own life.
Tico; Kaya’s blood brother, and a forever pain in her ass. Tico would often instigate the beatings that happened between her and Hiran. She has very little respect for him.
Shakeeya; Surprisingly Kaya has managed to find a way to find some sense of truce with Hiran’s lover. Shakeeya has become undoubtedly an important figure in the sense that she helps Kaya stay in touch with the happenings in the vampire community, so that Kaya may stay away from it. In return, Kaya lets her know if Hiran tries to put his feelers out in locating her so Shakeeya can deflect it. The relationship is built purely as a way to ensure that Hiran never finds Kaya, nothing more.
De’Crolie; Kaya is often haunted by the memories by how the elf vampire murdered her husband, and tried to not think of him unless she’s willing to risk a panic attack. He instills a great sense of fear in her, to the point it’s debilitating. Not knowing where he is, or if he’s still alive, hurts her greatly.
History:
Kaya was kidnapped by Tico in Punjab, India. She was originally intended for the slave trade, but during a chance routine check up Hiran took notice of the woman who reminded him of his late human wife, and decided to turn her and make her part of his domain. What neither of them expected was her insistence for none of it, and it quickly stirred a deep anger that the Ancient still lashes out against the woman. It resulted in the De’Crolie Blade being created. With the iron embedded with Hiran’s blood and a spell, the blade is capable of scarring him and any fledgling he creates, which Kaya found out the first night she rejected his advances. His violent rampage is the cause for the first mark, from her inner left breast to her belly button. The scar took days to heal and she stank of burning flesh. Even now the scar is still black, crusted over, and sometimes brings a sense of deep anger towards how her afterlife started. It also was the reason why Kaya will forever reject the Ancient, despite the number of times he uses the blade against her for her defiance. Her body was heavily scarred because of her stubborn need to forever go against his wishes for forcing this life on her, but Kaya will always pride herself in letting him know that she belongs only to herself.
She was allowed to work at one of the establishments that Hiran owned, serving customers and learning trades of how to talk to people and please others with charm and wit. Her desire for independency grew, and it didn’t take long before she started to run away, seeking jobs and a life of her own. There were many times when she was dragged back and punished for her disobedience, but it was though the more that Hiran wanted her to remain at his side, the more determined she was to seek freedom.
The first real sense of freedom she found was when a vampire named Sophie found her. Kaya had a deeply infected werewolf bite that refused to heal, and reluctantly accepted help, which landed her in the middle of aristocratic life as Sophie was the fledgling of the Vansoi, one of the heirs to the french line, Tureaux. With the power, wealth, and meaning behind this line, Kaya for once in her life was unable to be touched by the Ancient. It led to her exploring more feelings that she left dormant inside her; love. It didn’t take long at all once her and Vansoi got past their snobbery in their own senses to find they felt something deeply for each other. Marriage didn’t take long and Kaya was quickly introduced into what being a royal blood line member meant, and found herself loving the sense of purpose that came within the family. Unfortunately this is also during the time that De’Crolie rose from the dead, and with it a sense of raging jealously towards Kaya and the attentions she brought with Hiran, his own fledgling.
Kaya nearly died in a battle against De’Crolie, and Vansoi himself lost an eye. But they both thought that the truce they brought with Hiran and other Ancients in finally bringing down the demonic elf vampire meant peace at last… it wasn’t.
One of the first things De’Crolie did when he came back again was make a decision to hurt the ones that Hiran had in his life; leaving them vulnerable and fearing him even more so they wouldn’t dare another attack against him. This resulted in creating the worst memory that attacks Kaya constantly in the waking and sleeping world; murdering him on their wedding anniversary. The Tureaux bloodline was outraged that a beloved member was murdered because of Kaya’s family, and revoked her status as a member of their line. She tried to also return the wealth she had inherited from his will, but they believed it to be tainted. The sense of safety and love that she had been surrounded with for a short five years was ripped away, leaving her alone to defend herself amongst countries of ancient royal bloodlines that hated her very existence. She fled to the Americas where the royal lines didn’t reach, and sought isolation away from vampire communities. She is alone, despite the club and small community she managed to create for herself while living in Boston, so she always has to be careful of being found.
