Every evening the wealthy merchant left his shop in the hands of his trusted manager, too eager to visit his favorite tavern to help with the closing chores. As he smiled and shook hands with the other local shopkeepers, waving to the street vendors, each person who fell under his gaze only barely managed to give a convincingly cheerful reply. Every one of them was putting on a show to mask their fear or contempt. The merchant owned their cooperation through deep business connections or extortion. Almost every business in this area of the city owed some part of their success to this man. He had no need for their love—only their cooperation. But such men have a tendency to make dangerous enemies. One of those enemies hired Abby to dispose of him.
Pale silver eyes followed the merchant as he strolled through the streets, his hands resting on his large gut when they weren’t clasped in someone else’s or throwing a wave. The merchant took no notice of her. Her simple dress allowed her to blend with the other women on the street. The long faded lavender skirt, topped with a layer of white muslin, was heavy and cumbersome, reminding Abby why this was the only dress she owned. A dark brown suede vest laced over the loose white shift she wore beneath it all. Unlike her skirt, which felt too heavy, her top felt too light without her usual armor to protect her. But she could at least find comfort in the knowing she carried powerful poisons in the pouch hanging from the belt around her waist. Besides, tonight wasn’t the night she attacked. This venture was simply to confirm the information she received regarding his nightly visits to his favorite tavern.
She watched as he entered, pausing briefly before following him in. A quick glance about the surrounding area showed no one suspicious. No one even noticed her, and that suited her just fine. With no further hesitation, she entered the tavern. Immediately she was met with the sound of cheers so loud they drew her eye to a back corner. There the merchant was throwing his arms around various men she could only presume were his gang of miscreants. All of them had prices on their heads for some reason or other, Abby was sure of it. However, her only concern was the merchant.
Making her way to the bar, she slipped through the room largely unnoticed. A couple heads turned, but she refused to make eye contact. For the moment, she was focused on finding a strategic spot for observing her target. She found it at a stool near the corner of the bar. It was a perfect vantage point, one that allowed her to keep her eye on the merchant without alerting anyone to her motive. The bartender was busy with another customer, so she took a moment to take in her surroundings. It wasn’t a fancy tavern, but she had to admit that it was cozy and had a certain amount of charm. At least she wouldn’t be forced to spend her evening in a dark, sticky hole in the wall.

The job was quite simply for lack of a better word, boring. It was the usual type of a man creating too much of a name and reputation than he should have. And when one wasn't fit for that kind of lifestyle, it made them cocky and careless. Too many were affected by the outcome, and too many enemies were made. It didn't take long after accepting the assignment the amount of hatred people of this pathetic town had for their extortioner. Killing him would be simple and would bring nothing except a nice sum of gold and murmurs of ease from those affected by the greedy little man.
It didn't take long for Seth to learn the route of his target. He did nearly the same thing every day. Flash off his stuff, pretend he actually did a job anymore, then went off to drink and be praised by his fellow man. While he preferred to kill at night, it was tricky. He seemed to have a knack to party every night and sleep through most of the morning. Oh well. It just meant he had to wait and bade his time until he could get the two alone before fulfilling the deed. Until then, he decided it would be nice to go and have an early start on a rewarding drink over by the pub. The man had arrived before the sun had even fallen, and seated him into the back with a glass of something cheap and dirty to keep him company while he got lost in his thoughts. He rolled himself a cigarette while waiting for the server to return.
As night settled the crowds started to become more rambunctious in the tavern, Seth saw his target arrive, surrounded by fellow kiss assers of course. He took a swig of his drink as the green eye watched the group cautiously. The man was dressed in all black, simple slacks and sleeved, and easily let himself be lost in the darkness in the back of the room. The only thing that made him an obvious stand out was the giant blade attached to his back, but as he was facing forward, it wasn't quite as visible to the rest of the group. Not that it mattered. Wasn't like there was a law forbidding weaponry. Dangerous times meant not walking around armed was stupid.
Things were of the ordinary until a distraction slinked into the room. Seth's eye widened. A beauty of a gal, slender in that dashing little gown and penetrating eyes like a glinting sword. He was transfixed on her thick braided hair, just begging to be pulled in nightly fun. He smirked for a moment as he watched her walk through the place, but slowly arched his eyebrow as she was obviously paying attention towards something. Or someone rather. His eyes followed as she sat at the bar and there stared at the man Seth himself was charged with murdering. He knew that look. Damn.
Seth wasn't one to share, not even to pretty little girls. He was however willing to look for some fun until the morning came, and perhaps distracting her would be just that. Grinning to himself, he got up with his drink in hand and a burning cig in mouth and headed towards the bar, sliding himself to the stool next to hers but wouldn't place his focus on her just yet. He flashed up at the bartender with two fingers to indicate he wished to treat her before she had a chance to place in her own order.
"I couldn' help but notice," Seth started quietly in his strange city accent, the cigarette bouncing between his lips and stared down at his drink with a soft smirk, "Tha' ye either have very bad taste in men, or somethin's afoot in tha' cute little head of yers." He finally looked over at her. Many people have told him in the past that he had a punchable face. It was full of cockiness whenever he sneered. But for women it could be a face of endearment. The bad boy vibe always helped in gaining some of the wanted affection. That and the one eye thing. Chicks digged the pirate look.
"I'm certainly hopin' it's the first, so I can help yah pick out somethin' a little better for some fun."

Abby felt the presence slide into the stool next to her, but she didn’t immediately look. She was contemplating the best way to kill her prey. In this instance, it would probably take some maneuvering to get the merchant alone, whether she decided to kill him at night or during the day. But if she could somehow kill him without others noticing, it would save her some time. Perhaps a needle dipped in potent poison. Just a prick during an “accidental” collision and no one would ever suspect she was the cause of his death. As she pondered this, a pale hand rose from the figure beside her to the bartender. At least the guy would make his way over here now—she hadn’t realized the second finger the man beside her held up was the promise of a free drink. Her eyes watched the bartender slowly make his way over.
“I couldn’ help but notice…” Abby’s pale eyes darted to the figure beside her, finally realizing he chose the spot next to her for a reason. A cigarette dangled between his lips, smoke slowly curling before his pallid profile into a mop of dark brown hair. “Tha’ ya either have very bad taste in men, or somethin’s afoot in tha’ cute little head of yers.” Now her eyes widened briefly before narrowing in suspicion. He must have noticed her gaze on the merchant and the strategic way she placed herself in the tavern. Shit. His green eye focused on her, a playful glint only confirming her suspicion that he knew her purpose here. That could only mean one thing—this guy was targeting the merchant too. One thing she hated was stumbling on other assassins going after her targets. A small frown deepened the corners of her wide mouth, clearly annoyed she had been clumsy enough to be found out by one of her own kind.
“I’m certainly hopin’ it’s the first, so I can help yah pick out somethin’ a little better for some fun.” This guy was awfully sure of himself. Though half of his face was hidden behind a curtain of bangs, she could tell he was ruggedly handsome in spite of his pallor. And with a drawling accent like his, she had no doubt this guy was used to easy conquests. She could use his obvious attraction for her to her advantage. Keeping him distracted tonight would give her the opportunity to take out the merchant during the day tomorrow. As long as she got the job done first, she would reap the rewards. Deciding this was better than trying to brawl her way out of her current predicament, Abby allowed a smile to slowly spread across her full lips before she gave a soft sigh and rested her cheek on her hand propped on the bar.
“Unfortunately, I’m smitten. The way the sweat glistens in the light reflecting off his head just makes my heart flutter.” Her smile widened at his clear amusement, allowing her eyes to scan him more fully. He was clearly well-muscled beneath his black clothing and she could see multiple scars and tattoos rising from the collar of his shirt. Even more noticeable was the giant sword slung across his back. She was genuinely intrigued by the weapon, but knew she would have time to inquire about it later. The bartender snapped her out of her thoughts by asking what she wanted and she kindly ordered the house red wine. Her new acquaintance made it known he would be buying her drink. Normally such presumptuous behavior would irritate her, but she was making an effort to be pleasant. Plus, it was a free drink. “Alright, but only if you tell me your name,” she replied with a coy smile. The bartender wandered off to pour her drink and she turned her body more towards the man beside her to better invite his conversation. “And why you’re after my target,” she added in a quiet, hard-edged voice.

Seth reveled in the surprise that lit up in those pretty little grey eyes of hers. Having it sprung that someone knew of your nasty intentions made no one's day, and it would always be made worse to know that you weren't alone in said intentions. It probably would have been smarter if Seth had handled his competition in a more sly manner, but poking at danger was a hobby he tended to relish. There would be absolutely no fun in what he did if he didn't overstep some bounds every once and a while, and it certainly wouldn't result in him being able to chat up someone who could probably put up a good fight.
The smile was a surprise at first but Seth greeted it with his own, taking a puff of smoke and blowing out the wisps. He knew that there was a hint of danger in the welcoming look she was presented, but he relished in it. It became a challenge, and certainly one that was more fun than the opportunity to kill a shortsighted greedy little man. Wooing a competitor was no easy task, and it was why he decided he needed to find a way to fullfil that task.
A quiet dark chuckle filled the tight air between them as she proposed the absurd idea of finding their task attractive. "Sweethear', if a little sweat is all it takes to get yah goin', I know a much better method of givin' yah some good results than starin' at some ole pig." The bartender had come back and placed another glass of the slightly muddy brown drink Seth had been sampling for the evening. He took out the smoke to take a sip while looking over at the lass to judge her reactions as she was asked for what her free taste would be to start with. He considered at that point how easy it could have been to drug the girl if he had a moment alone with her glass, but poisons weren't his thing. It didn't give you the intimacy of feeling the death your hands could give, despite how much easier it could make the job. Seth wasn't exactly looking for easy though. He wanted to sate that demon in his belly with bloody sacrifices.
He realized then she asked a question and was brought out of his small reverie, lowering the glass.
"With hopes you give one back, Seth, little lass." There was no last name to give. Last names meant someone could look for a past, a story to the man, and he wasn't interested in telling stories of the past. Giving a story for the future was more his thing.
When she turned to face him better, Seth followed suit, the closeness bringing a small jolt of excitement. She was interested, and even if it was just to distract him from the job at hand, it was welcomed. It wasn't as thought he wasn't trying to do the same towards her.
"I thought that'd be obvious." He stated factly, raising his brow at her. "Is it really that curious that more than one would hate the little waste of air?"

“With hopes you give one back, Seth, little lass.” Abby hadn’t expected a last name to go with it. In their line of work, last names were cumbersome. Hardly anyone she knew was aware she even had a last name. The bartender arrived with her wine, receiving a small, polite smile in return. She pulled the cup towards herself before looking at him expectantly for the answer to her more important question. “I thought that’d be obvious. Is it really that curious that more than one would hate the little waste of air?” He had misunderstood the purpose of her question, drawing a wry smile from her. She sampled her wine before answering.
“My name is Abby. And it’s not curious at all,” she replied, her eyes finding their way back to his. “I just wanted to gauge whether you had any personal stake in this job. If you had, maybe I would have considered backing off.” She held his gaze as she raised her cup to her lips again. It wasn’t high quality wine, but it would do. The smile she gave Seth was both challenging and seductive. “Since it seems we’re both just in it for the money, I have no problem stealing this job away from you. But good luck on your next job.” Though it was clear Abby had no intention of giving up on her target, her voice never lost its playful, flirty edge. Something told her this wouldn’t be over until the merchant was dead, however. They were competitors, after all, and Abby was prepared to take on the challenge.
Now that she was faced more towards him, Abby’s eyes slid once again to the giant sword hilt rising from his back. One brow raised curiously, her knees brushing against his leg as she turned towards him even more. “And speaking of our profession, do you really use that sword in this line of work? Not the best weapon choice, if you ask me.” A playful smirk pushed up the corners of her wide lips, her low voice growing softer as her pale eyes fixed on his. “I’m fairly certain it isn’t meant to compensate for any physical lacking. So why bother with something so cumbersome?” She was genuinely curious in the weapon, never having encountered a fellow assassin with such a seemingly difficult tool in his arsenal.

The kind of smile that popped up onto that delicate little face made a sense go off in Seth’s brain, but it didn’t deter the man from keeping his expression light upon learning the woman's name. It did however falter at the challenge she presented. He stayed quiet, judging, as she took a sip before continuing her taunt at him. Afterwards, a sneer took over him, placing his cig back into his mouth to inhale. If the job was ever personal, Seth never would have wasted his time on an opponent trying to steal it from him. Killing them would have been more likely to guarantee nothing would get in his way. But there was no need for that sort of remark to come off his lips tonight. He wanted pleasure and fun from the lass, not bloodshed.
But he wouldn’t back from the clear challenge she presented him with. It was fine. A race to the death of a cretin just made it more interesting is a- was that her leg? The green eye glanced down to the stroke of her knee, devious thoughts turning in his head. She wanted to distract him, obviously, but it was a great way to do it. He welcomed it. Please, let her follow through on the distractions. It would be an excellent start to the night.
“Hm?” He grunted, looking up and seeing she was eyeing over his shoulder. Teeth bared with grin, he rolled his shoulders so the blade jostled behind him. “Course I do. What fun would it be if I just slinked off into tha’ shadows every time and let little darts and poisons do all tha’ work?” He leaned towards her at this point.
“Do you wan’ a demonstration, Abby? Is gonna be a while before the bastard’s alone. I’m more than happy to prove its worth.” He didn’t really mean the sword, and mentally nodded at himself at the double entendre.

The grin Seth gave reminded Abby of a predator with a new catch between his teeth. Yet she couldn’t deny he intrigued her. She wanted to test those predatory instincts—in more ways than one. His big shoulders rolled to better call attention to his oversized weapon, obviously proud of the inconvenient sword. “Course I do. What fun would it be if I just slinked off into tha’ shadows every time and let little darts and poisons do all tha’ work?” Though she continued smiling, her eyes narrowed briefly and a twinge of anger clenched her belly. Was that supposed to be a jab at her? She didn’t always use poison or weapons that killed from a distance. In fact, she rather enjoyed getting the blood of evil men on her hands.
Before she could throw her own verbal dart, Seth suddenly leaned forward and distracted her. Abby’s gaze held his confidently even as her heart jumped slightly in her chest. “Do you wan’ a demonstration, Abby? Is gonna be a while before the bastard’s alone. I’m more than happy to prove its worth.” It seemed they were now talking about a different sword in his arsenal. She almost rolled her eyes at how easy that pun was, but couldn’t help her smile genuinely growing a little wider at the lameness of it. Now she leaned in until their faces were just inches apart, allowing him to see her eyes taking in his handsome face. Honestly, if she had to distract a fellow assassin all night, she was glad he was at least very nice to look at. With her pale eyes locked on his again, staring through the smoke drifting up from his cigarette, she gave a sultry smile. “You certainly don’t waste any time.”
Reaching up, she plucked the cigarette from his lips and brought it to her own, taking a long drag while holding his stare. She could see the desire burning in that single visible eye and she enjoyed the power it gave her. As the smoke filled the space between them, she tucked the cigarette between her fingers possessively. “But what kind of woman would I be if I just let a man give me a sword demonstration within fifteen minutes of meeting him?” There was a twinkle in her eye as she brought the cigarette to her lips again, relishing the way he watched her. It wasn’t often that Abby felt attraction for a man, but she could feel it drawing her closer to this one. So she would make him work for his prize.
As she exhaled the smoke curling in her lungs, she placed the cigarette back between his lips. Instead of letting her hand simply fall, however, she ran it down his arm, taking stock of the muscles beneath his black shirt as if it were a normal thing to do. “The sword work explains why you’re so big, though. I have to confess, I have a weakness for big men.” Her eyes met his with a kittenish smile, clearly finding enjoyment in toying with him.

The smile that appeared excited Seth, but he wouldn’t show it. His gaze remained cool and tempered as he studied Abby’s face for future reactions, knowing full well she understood his intentions. The game of hot and cold had started. It was one of his favorite things - seeking the desires a potential bed mate wanted, how to urge them out, let the girls whisper them in his ear. It was a favorite because he tended to win. He thanked his damn good looks for that.
He held his breath as Abby leaned in close to him. He watched those pretty little lips as they spread into a smile. It took some self control to keep himself from closing the gap with his own pair of lips once she spoke up, but instead smirked as she immediately plucked out his cigarette. He inhaled the smoke she breathed out, eye half lidded at the devious show of dominancy.
“The kind, lass, tha’ knows what she wants.” He commented back. Seth could hardly judge any woman that chooses to share a bed with him. He made it known very well what he wanted from them, and nothing more. It would be hypocritical to think he should have expect anything else from the ladies who sought him out as well. Especially in their line of work.
“Our jobs come wit’ a countdown on our heads. Why not enjoy the simple pleasures why we can, eh?” His arms were leaning on his knees at this point, making it obvious that she was now his center of attention. His eye closed at the smoke blowing into his face and let her place the cig back between his lips. They pluckered, kissing the bit that her lips had been on nearly before. Shit. She was good.
Feelings the initiation of touch upon his arm, fingers slid over one of her delicate knees. They slid slowly towards her outer thigh, the speed of traveling the same as her fingers as they explored over his muscles.
“Tha’s certainly one of the benefits to havin’ a big sword then, ain’t it?” He teased back, letting his arms tense so she could feel more the size at hand.
“I can promise yah though, is way more fun to gaze at withou’ tha distraction of clothes.”

Abby’s breath caught in her throat for a moment as she felt Seth’s fingers gliding over her knee. Then her breathing picked up ever so slightly as his whole hand began working its way up her thigh. He had big hands that stirred the desire in her belly. She wasn’t lying when she said she had a weakness for big men. His muscles flexed beneath her hand, clearly trying to impress. “Tha’s certainly one of the benefits to havin’ a big sword then, ain’t it?” She allowed her smile to grow at his tease. Wicked thoughts floated through her mind of just how big his “sword” was. Certainly there was a reason he was so cocky.
“I can promise yah though, is way more fun to gaze at withou’ tha’ distraction of clothes.” This time she didn’t try to stop her smile from spreading across her full-lipped mouth, a devious glimmer in her eyes. They had only just met and already Abby knew this man was driven. “I’m sure it is. In fact, I’m sure I’ll see for myself soon enough.” It left no room for doubt about where this was going. Seth had intrigued her enough. Most importantly, she was sure she could keep him occupied until morning given they had a bed. With a weapon like his and skin so pale, she was sure she would have the advantage on him if she could just hunt during the day tomorrow. The night was young, but Abby had incredible stamina.
Silver eyes dropped from Seth’s gaze to his lips, taking the cigarette from his mouth again. However, she didn’t take another drag. This time, she leaned in closer, appearing as though she would kiss him until she avoided his lips at the last minute. Instead she continued moving forward until she could whisper in his ear. “I’m better to look at without clothes too.” She felt the hand on her leg squeeze, drawing a small, breathy laugh from her. His response made her heart give a rare skip. Before he could steal a kiss, she pulled back from him, leaning back in her seat once more with a smirk.
She drained her glass of wine before sliding from her barstool. There was no need to stay at the bar. True, she had Seth’s full attention, but she wanted to make sure it stayed that way. She didn’t want to hear it from Robert when she returned without killing the merchant herself. More importantly, the money certainly made life easier for her. She didn’t go without much and she wanted to keep it that way. Thankfully in this city her group of assassins maintained a network. She had a free room and place to store her gear with one of their associates if she ever needed it. It wasn’t far from this tavern, so she wasn’t too far from her gear and weapons. But she couldn’t take Seth there. So she had a plan.
Her smile was kittenish as she slinked past him. “I’ll be right back.” She let her eyes roam the room as she moved to a separate counter where a man stood before a book and a till for money. There were a few pairs of eyes that met hers, but only a couple with looks of disapproval at the way she and Seth were carrying on. Abby didn’t care if anyone was bothered anyway. She would most likely never see them again. At the counter, the man looked up from writing in what appeared to be a ledger to give her a friendly smile. After a short exchange, he handed her a key and she handed him a few coins in return. She would pay the rest come morning—and she’d make sure Seth paid his share.
With her exchange complete, she went back to the bar, catching Seth’s predatory gaze as she made her way back to him. Her smile was wicked, already feeling her adrenaline kicking up. The point wasn’t to get to know this guy. They were professionals in competition and Abby was going to make the most of it before claiming victory. Returning to his side, she didn’t bother taking her seat again. “Now’s your chance to prove all your boasting.” She held up the key with a sultry grin, waiting for him to make a move.

The smile guaranteed that Seth was going to have an excellent night. The comment made his eye gleam, ensuring his thoughts. Getting to woo a gal successfully was always a cause for celebration, and mentally Seth was congratulating himself for a job well done. It wouldn’t show on his face however. Keeping a cool exterior was necessary for the job they both carried. Expressing emotions could be dangerous when extracting information, or following a target. Or in this case, to show that he wasn’t currently mentally high five’ing himself like a damn kid.
His thoughts however were very similar to Abby’s. A night of some good old fashioned romping would be a great break, but also an excellent way to wear out the girl. His pride allowed the idea that he could successfully wear her out enough that he would have the time to slip off and finish his job while she dozed the day away. It also meant that he could be the one to escape off with the gold. So far his decision to talk to his competition proved to be a great choice on his end.
His brain paused as she again took his light away and moved towards him, that already small contact between their lips closing in. He was nearly ready to greet those delicate lips but they instead chose a place by his ear, the whisper sending a ripple down his spine and his hand tightened over her lithe thigh. She pulled away and drank her wine before walking off, cig still in hand. His eye darkened as dastardly thoughts ran through his mind, and he chugged the last of his cheap rum. A scarred hand then rummaged into a pocket to place a few coins on the counter for the drinks.
There was some surprise that she returned with a key in hand. To be honest, he didn’t think either of them would waste money considering their time together would be brief. He had plans in the back of his mind to just find a reclusive little alley to share their fun, but he held no objections that she wanted something private. If she wanted to spend her money to add to her own desires, he wasn’t going to object.
He smirked deviously up at her and slid off his stool. He sauntered up to her, nearly pressing his cheek into hers with the cocky expression still in place as he reached out to the key.
“Well then c’mon lass. I better keep up tha’ reputation.” He wrapped an arm around her waist and headed for the stairs that led to the rooms on the second floor, ignoring the looks and shakes from tavern members. They could judge all they wanted. From where he stood, it was Seth that was currently winning for having a good night.
He let go of her briefly as he came to the door, but turned around as he started to unlock the doorknob and wrapped the other hand behind her neck, pulling her in for a taste of what was to come. His breath tasted of nicotine and cheap booze, a harsh contrast of the sweet richness of the wine that still lingered on her tongue. His tongue explored the flavored, using his kiss to bring her slowly into the room, and kicking close with a leg. He dropped the key onto the floor. It wasn’t needed for a while and they might as well be able to find it easily after their rendezvous. With the second arm now free, he wrapped it around her tiny waist, gripping her side and hopefully feel a willingness to let it wander for some more adventures.

Abby’s stomach clenched in excitement as Seth smirked and rose to his feet. Normally Abby kept to herself. There weren’t many men she got involved with because of the conflict it could cause with her work. But even she had her needs. Seth was a convenient partner. And he happened to be very alluring. Her breath caught again when he leaned down close to her and took the key from her hand. “Well then c’mon lass. I better keep up tha’ reputation.” His thick arm snaked about her waist and Abby returned the gesture. She didn’t acknowledge any stares or leers they got. With the ease of their quiet conversation, they could easily have planned this rendezvous.
He led her up the stairs to the door of their room, her heart beginning to flutter a little. She knew she would have a challenge on her hands getting him to the point of exhaustion. And it was no secret to either of them, she knew, that they were competing to drain the other of the energy to complete their mission tonight. He began to unlock the door and she took the moment to survey the hallway. It was always good to be aware of her surroundings. She was caught off guard when a large, firm hand found the back of her neck.
Pale eyes widened briefly as Abby was suddenly being pulled into Seth. They quickly closed as Seth showed no sign of stopping. His kiss was rough and overpowering, tasting of cigarettes and rum. Her tongue writhed against his as she curled her hands around fistfuls of his shirt. He guided her along blindly into the room and she only vaguely noticed the loss of light as the door closed behind them. She was consumed with Seth’s deep kiss. Once again his arm slid about her waist and Abby welcomed it.
A soft sigh escaped her nose as her hands glided along his chest in return, reaching up until her hands gripped handfuls of his hair. One of his hands explored along her sides slowly, sending chills down her spine. The other was teasing its way down her neck, clavicle, chest…She released a soft moan into his mouth, scraping her nails delicately along his scalp. The heat was slowly rising to her face and she reveled in this rare chance to sate her lusts.
As her hands began to work down his front, her body rising up into his, her fingers came across the texture of hard leather straps. He still had his sword slung on his back. Her lips pulled back a few centimeters from his with a smirk, brushing her nose against his playfully. “Shouldn’t you take this off before this goes any further?” she asked breathlessly. Her hands fell to her own belt about her waist, allowing it to clatter to the ground with the keys to the room. She kept her gaze glued on his as she moved her fingers to swiftly loosen the piece of fabric tied about the end of her braid. Nimble fingers loosened her hair in less than a minute, finally tossing it over her shoulder to let the wild mess of dark curls tumble down her back. It was clear from his struggle with his sword that their makeout session was having quite the effect on his coordination. She giggled softly, beginning to loosen the ties at her shoulders. It was a quick escape from the vest hiding her chest, one he probably wouldn’t think of in this state. And the rush of their scrambled undressing was getting to her too.

His body tensed as a hand caught hold of his hair, the hand upon her reacting to it and sliding down her skin to create a tingling sensation. The groan uttered into his breathe created a grunt, biting on her lower lip. He moved back only to kiss again in a new angle, tongue pushing past her lips into the dance of intimidation and control he knew they were both seeking.
When she finally pulled away, Seth released a hot breath into her face, the hint of smoke lingering between them. His brow furrowed at her question at first and looked behind him. He had nearly forgotten the contraption was still stuck between his shoulders. He smirked towards her before letting go, the cold air making him shudder. Best to be quick then. Seth had a past for taking vampire lovers, for his usually hot blood made their cold skin an addiction to be around. But when he was with humans, the heat created its own sense of pleasure. A desire to sweat.
He stepped back and began to unbuckle the straps keeping him from furthering their passions. It wasn’t that it was a struggle, but in order to support the weight of the blade, there were just too many obstacles to get it loose again. For the most part, Seth never bothered with removing the straps. It was easier to sleep in them. But she wanted to see skin, and he was more than willing to comply.
The last click sent a satisfactory smirk to his face, and he slid his arms away, a hand taking hold of the handle and turned to lean the sword against a wall. He flexed his shoulders at the sudden loss of weight to his body created a strange sensation of floating. He looked back to Abby, and evil thoughts cropped up with the sneer at the loose hair that surrounded her like a dark halo. He quirked an eyebrow however as she started to undo her clothes.
“Now hold on there, miss.” He said, heading back towards her with a grin. “There’s no rush to the evenin’.” Removing clothes was a fun part of the foreplay and he wasn’t interested in letting her escape it so quickly. His hands grabbed at her waist and picked her up, encouraging her legs to wrap around his waist as he guided her to a guide and rushed her back into it. He attempted a distraction with hot and wet kisses at her jawline, swirling his tongue over her skin as he sank lower and lower, from her neck to her collarbone. Teeth nicked at her skin in-between kisses. While his lips were diverted towards reaching his goal of her chest, his hands were sliding their way under the layers of her skirt, nails brushing along her skin. He wanted the slow temptations to eat away at her, to make her beg to take away the layers that separated them from their end goals. To make her feel so hot and wet that egging for his release on her grasp so that she may escape the contraptions that hid their flesh.

“Now hold on there, miss.” Abby turned curious pale eyes to Seth once more, pausing in her movements to unlace her bodice. His grin sent a shiver down her spine as he advanced on her again. “There’s no rush to evenin’.” He had a point. However, she did expect his taking off the sword on his back to take longer than it did. Her smile grew on her lips as his big hands took hold of her waist and suddenly lifted her. She felt light as a feather being hoisted on his hips by those strong arms. Instinctively her arms and legs wrapped about him, giggling softly as he guided them to a nearby wall. As soon as her back pressed into it, Seth’s mouth began trailing hot kisses along her jaw. Once again her fingers curled into his messy hair, her breaths coming faster as his mouth moved lower. His soft tongue was a stark contrast to his nipping teeth and both were making her heart race. The pounding in her chest only got more intense when she began to feel his hands at work beneath her skirt.
Abby shivered to feel Seth’s nails drag gently along her skin. The higher his fingers climbed, the wetter she became. But his slow pace was clearly meant to tease her. She took it as a challenge. Two could play at that game. Her fingers released the tight grip she had on his hair, smoothing them down his jawline until he lifted his face from her skin. Their lips and tongues twined together again in a kiss that disclosed their growing hunger for each other. And as they kissed, Abby’s hands continued their path down his front. She felt the muscles rippling beneath his clothes and the fire of passion in her belly burned brighter. Drawn by her curiosity, her hands continued over his abs until she was able to tug at the hem of his shirt. Fingers dipped beneath the cloth and finally traced along the bare skin of his hard stomach. She breathed a soft sigh against his insistent lips.
One hand travelled slowly up beneath his shirt, the numerous scars and hard muscle there forcing more heat to her face. The other hand found one of his beneath her skirts. She guided his hand higher, coaxing his fingertips across her inner thigh until there was no mistaking the damp heat between her legs. “You feel that?” she murmured against his lips, making sure her lips were never completely parted from his. She encouraged his fingers just a little closer to her sex, opening her eyes halfway. “You feel how hot I am for you?” The fingers beneath his shirt clawed gently along his chest while the hand on his beneath her skirt suddenly was guiding his fingers away from her sex to her hip. She smirked against his mouth. “How long do you think you can deny yourself the pleasure of being inside me?” Her teeth nipped his bottom lip and tugged playfully, hoping she could coax him into a needier pace.

The little responses that Abby's body gave as he explored it excited him. From the shivers to the breaths that disrupted the silence, Seth ate it all up and let it act as encouragement to keep going. A grunt left his lips as fingers suddenly snaked their way through his hair and forced him away from tasting her skin. There wasn't complaint though as it meant he got to enjoy her own exploring before another rough kiss. He growled into her tongue as her hands explored his chest and fishing for the ends of his top. Fingers dug into her skin as nails snaked under his sweater, trailing upwards.
He paused when a hand caught of his own, and he pulled back slightly to see if she was trying to give him a signal. But when it was to give him an indication of what she was wanting, he smirked against her lips as she whispered to him. His heart started to hammer at her dominance and need. It was good to find girls who weren't afraid to express what they wanted. Sure it meant he usually played with them a little before it happened, but recieving orders added to the game.
His hand being forced back and the bait that was set by her, Seth decided to add in his own rules. She probably could already feel the hardness in his pants, but he wasn't going to give her the pleasure of just giving in to her taunt. Instead, he chuckled after teeth nipped at her lower lip and he leaned back, eye glinting at her darkly.
"I'll tell yeh what." He breathed out, starting to lower himself. "Every time you decide you need to call out my name, we'll lose somethin' we're wearin'." His knees hit the floor, and it was at that point his hands pushed her body up, letting her back lean into the wall still for support as hands grasped onto her buttocks, head diving under the layers of material of her skirt. He paused for a moment, letting her mind explore through the options of what he might be conjuring.
Then teeth started to nip at her inner thighs. He moved between hard and soft sucks and pulls, breathing hard inbetween each bite. His mouth roamed up and down each thigh, but he wouldn't give her the pleasure of touching her mound. Long as she kept silent, he would just keep up the torture of denying her what she ached for.

Abby’s hips did their best to press down into Seth’s, taking stock of the hardness in his pants. From what she could feel, there was definitely a reason Seth was so cocky. Maybe her taunting was enough to get her a glimpse of what he was hiding. Instead, a deep, dark chuckle sounded from her new lover, her heart skipping as he nipped her bottom lip once more. “I’ll tell yeh what.” Abby’s eyes flashed with desire as Seth began to lower himself before her. “Every time you decide you need to call out my name, we’ll lose somethin’ we’re wearin’.” His knees hit the floor with a soft thump. Her stomach flip-flopped excitedly.
With his hands on her backside, Seth pushed Abby’s body up and into the wall as his head dove beneath her skirts. She knew her face was red, her lust pumping her blood into her head and making her slightly dizzy. After a brief pause, she gasped and twitched a bit to feel his teeth against the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. He alternated between rough and gentle sucks at her skin, his teeth occasionally tugging at the soft flesh. It made her whimper with tiny shocks of pleasure. Up and down her thighs his mouth teased her, but she never felt more than his occasional breaths on her sex. She gave a soft whine of frustration. She didn’t like to give in to a lover’s demands. Unfortunately, she knew he would continue to torment her until she chanted his name. So she would drive him wild with his own rule.
“Seth!” she breathed as his teeth scraped her skin once again. She could feel his lips curling into a satisfied smirk against her skin. But now she knew a weakness. Placing her hands on the bulge of his head under her skirts, she lifted her face to look up at the ceiling. Seth’s mouth had risen higher and the clenching of her stomach made her wetter between her thighs. Holding him to his word, she resumed unlacing the shoulders of her bodice. Her breath quickened as his tongue joined the gentle torment. Her fingers tugged at the laces in the small of her back, giving her just enough room to wiggle free from the suede garment. She dropped it to the floor before placing her hands on top of his head again. Again, Seth pulled back from his prize, drawing a soft whimper of protest.
“Seth!” she sighed, just a little more desperate than before. She had to admit he was getting her blood pumping hard.
