It was almost dizzying with the amount of anxious emotions that swirled inside Kaya’s brain. There was the steady stream of fear of Shakeeya breaking free from the restraints that kept her back from pouncing on HIran’s fledgling as she sent her taunts down at the broken woman about getting herself tossed around like a rag doll by wolves. The fear was being battled with the dread that she would have to abandon the quiet little life she was trying desperately to keep inside the compounds of the werewolf territory, and with that leaving Erakin and Rye. The worst of it however, was knowing how close Hiran was towards having Kaya back in his hands. The idea of seeing his bloodied eyes as Shakeeya hissed her empty threats at revealing the location of the scarred woman did its part, and Kaya lowered her eyes in submission as the sound of heeled feet clipped against the concrete floor towards her. The swirling head was made worse as her body ached, her torn skin stretching as Kaya tensed her healing muscles under Shakeeya’s words. Part of her believed it, as she always did. Both the women knew that their lives would forever be better if they made sure that the fledgling stayed as far away from the maker as possible, but Kaya was walking on a thin line at the notion that she wasn’t going to keep following through with the agreement. Still, Shakeeya could be unpredictable in the games that she conjured up in her head. Perhaps this would be the time she decided she was tired of the cat and mouse game they always danced around, and finally ensure that the Ancient closed in on his prey.
…Or perhaps not. Red eyes widened as Kaya stared at the floor, sucking in a small breath in her disbelief. She took the small moment of silence as Shakeeya texted back to her monstrous lover and composed herself. She reached back out for the glass of bloodied wine for a taste. Around Shakeeya, however, even the finest wine was soiled like old grapes.
Kaya listened quietly to the other woman speak with insults and annoyance and perhaps a romanticism of the way the dark haired vampire had been so thoroughly and completely torn through. It wasn’t until there was a quick rush of air that Kaya finally sparked to life. She responded to the supposed threat with a flick of her wrist, the glass flown to the side and shattering as blood and wine spilled out, hands slamming into the ground on either side of her as she pushed herself further into the wood behind her, snarling in response with long fangs as she prepared to bite at the fingers that dared reached too close for comfort. The action however stretched the deep bite in Kaya’s shoulder, the scabbed skin breaking open and the rush of fresh blood seeped in the air. The snarl quickly turned into a pained hiss, and Kaya closed her eyes as she dealt with the pain she brought upon herself.
Drink… Shakeeya said drink. She wanted to share...
“You must be joking.” The words slithered between clenched teeth as Kaya finally brought the ache under control, only enough to feel embarrassment at her reaction. It didn’t show as red eyes glared up to face against the rageful amber. “Do you honestly believe I would ever let that monster’s blood be inside me any more than it has to? I’d rather go up against a fucking pack again.” Kaya was breathing as she spoke, the pain and the anxiety making it hard to focus and restrain her emotions. She hated this, with every fiber of her being. Her head was pounding at the idea of vampire blood to get rid of the wounds, and her fangs stayed long as a result. Her pupils were narrowed as she fought from looking at the offered wrist, and her stiffened limbs kept causing her wounds bleed. She felt defenseless, in front of Shakeeya of all people. It was embarrassing and she couldn’t stop the irritated huff of a growl as a hand waved away the offered wrist.
“I told you. I am not leaving, so there’s no reason for me to worry about my condition to keep me from running away. I. Am. Done.” With that, Kaya dragged her legs underneath her to slowly push herself up, arms burning under the pressure as she stood. The vampire stumbled back into the barrel she had been using before as a backrest with a hiss, hands reaching out to grasp at the wood for support as she kept her gaze towards the pest that was trying to ruin her life.
“I’m done with running. I don’t give a shit if he’s found me. You’re not going to do this again to me.” The vampire shut up the moment the last sentence left her lips, and her eyes shifted from furious to stressed. It was an unintentional statement, and more than she had meant to share.
Hiran waited with little patience as he stared at his screen, each second passing by excruciatingly slow. His finger hovered over the phone button, and had nearly pressed by the time his phone buzzed as a new message flashed to life. The response back was from her, but it did nothing to appease the distress at the possibility Ranier somehow his hands on the red head during Hiran’s time locked away in his study. Red eyes took in the tiny response of two words, his teeth clenching. There wasn’t a way to judge if this message was even from her… it could have just been him, taunting the Ancient as he had done towards the elder. His hand clutched at the device before he made a small snarl and clicked back towards the contacts page and pressed down on the phone icon. He brought the device up to his ear and waited for the first ring. He just… needed to hear her voice.

She was less than thrilled about offering her fragile looking little wrist in offering to this pathetic and injured vampiress. Not exactly a shocking thinking pattern of being for the red head. When involving herself with Kaya, her entire evening felt like it was dragging hot embers over her skin. It was a torture that only she would understand. That only she could recognise was within her own mind... but she would never be rid of it. And she couldn't kill the wench herself so... here they were. Again, not so surprisingly with Kaya rejecting such a generous offer from her. "Tch!" Came a harsher hiss that she bit down on as her apathetic expression turned to one of arrogance and disdain. Yes. Any other day it would have been a fucking joke before Shakeeya finishing off the wounded woman. But Kaya's refusal was throwing even the red head a little. One, there was no comparison to sampling Ancient blood. And two, she didn't care any more? Or she was foolish enough to think she could take the Ancient on? Which she couldn't and would be captured with ease, the way Hiran's mind became so clear and focused when it came to his blood-daughter. Her hand returned to rest on her hip as the cornered vampire began to growl back in retort, a cocktail of fear and courage fueling her words perhaps.
Shakeeya stood and sneered down at the purple haired woman beneath her until she was attempting to bring herself back up to her feet to gain some sort of control or composure. She let Kaya finish now that her head had to tilt slightly upwards, and a beat of silence hung heavy over the pair as they stared each other down. Red and amber pulsing in the dim light. "You stupid bitch..." Shakeeya's voice finally spoke quietly and condescendingly in the store room. Her eyes studied the taller woman's face for a moment before she snorted, a mild noise of amusement before continuing to judge her, shaking her head a fraction.
"You know what you reak of more than blood? ...Fear," she purred the last word, leering subtly before turning on the balls of her feet slowly and taking calculated steps back toward her waiting, untouched glass of wine. "And you really think -I'm- the one doing this to you? Poor little victim Kaya... It's not even my dear Hiran doing this to you, you idiot." Her fingers finally plucked up the wine glass and took another deep inhale, a broad smirk splitting her face as she exhaled the sweet aroma. "You're doing this to yourself. You always have," she grunted once again in a condescending tone. "Run to live another day or face your fears and undoubtedly have your world destroyed. I thought it was a no-brainer to be honest," she licked her lips and cast her glowing gaze toward the back of the vampiress who perhaps wanted to believe she had a chance. "So what am I to do hmm? Bye. See ya. Catch ya on the flip side when Hiran gets his hands on you? ...you can see how that doesn't really work for me. Maybe I need to skip ahead to the threats and torture he will perform against those you hold close. I mean, if your mind is really so made up, it's going to happen sooner or later right?"
Kaya rebelling against their mutual agreement might actually be a fun new game if she got to hunt and maim all the while watching what that did to the Ancient's precious thing. Shakeeya swirled her glass as she paused for effect, always one for a dramatic air and toying with those around her no matter who they were really. But this woman was even irritating the red head enough to get this over with. "So you're done with running," she stated with a small nod forward of her head,"You must be done with freedom aswell then, because that is all I can hear at the moment. I mean. It is hard to hear over my body's need for a fucking orgasm!" She slammed her glass down without tasting any of the contents as her temper flared and her emotional instability showed. "Which is doubly thanks to you by the way," she growled before taking a few pointless paces about the stocks of alcohol, attempting to reel her brain in toward different topics other than her seering lust that was being left so unsatisfied after a week of nothing. Let alone the companionship, challenges and twisted comforts Hiran supplied her with in this life. They were gone too. She wouldn't say she was hurting... that was a human weakness of attachment but... Something in her was building and she needed to fix this and make everything go back to the way it was. Otherwise even Shakeeya knew she could be the one undoing it all despite her better judgement after hundreds of years of being groomed.
She turned her head to continue a retort, perhaps even an order and a threat for Kaya to start getting her shit together. Or she would kiss it all goodbye one way or another. The words were contained however as the long vibration of her phone in her pocket signalled an incoming call. Shakeeya blinked before raising an eyebrow and plucking out the device to see Hiran's bold name on the screen, her second eyebrow joining the other with surprise and mild glee. "Well well well," there was normally some more prying and controlling messages back and forth before her lover decided it was worth his time to actually check in on her. Although still frazzled from her previous confession, Shakeeya noticably fluffed her short hair a little, even though he wouldn't see it, before relaxing her posture and allowing that natural smugness to bleed across her face. She swiped her thumb to receive the call (after a few more rings) before chuckling lightly into the phone. "Are you bored without me?"
Yellow eyes scanned back around to the other vampire in the dark room, her toothy smirk communicating very well the pleasure she was going to experience watching her reaction as Kaya's greatest tormentor was only a whisper away.

There was a surprising amount of anger that ringed through the tiny battered vampire. Kaya’s eyes narrowed as her lip curled at the first retort back towards her, her bleeding frame stiffening despite the anxiety due to her initial outburst. She knew it was stupid, letting her emotions get the best of her when she was in no situation to try and compete against someone who hated her entire existence, but Kaya couldn’t bother at that point to really care. Most of her vampiric life was spent running, aided by the woman sneering up at her with her insults, but what exactly had it gotten her besides a couple extra years of not having to see her maker? Was it really worth it in the end? To never have a life that everyone else seemed to grasp on to. Mentally Kaya shook her head, the slow anger building. In the past she would be agreeing with Shakeeya. She had always blamed herself for the torment she dragged onto others because of her family. It had always been her fault when Hiran lashed his wrath on the ones she dared to care about. She had learned in the past, to not get attached to others. Being alone had always been safer, but…
A growl vibrated in Kaya’s throat as her hands clenched, a similar response Hiran had always shown when he felt a lack of respect being presented to him. The imitation was unintentional, and if Kaya had been thinking more clearly she wouldn't have done it, knowing his steps in how he reacted with torments towards her, but at that point she couldn't be bothered to care about the relations she shared due to their bloodline. “Fuck you.” She hissed between clenched words. “Why should I care about you and that decrepit old ghoul do, or don’t do? You can’t just-“ The coming assault of words was cut off as Shakeeya’s phone made a long buzz, and red eyes looked down as the other woman pulled it out from her pocket. Her chest gave a long throb as the worst fear of it being him on the other line, fighting back the dread of having to hear his actual voice as Shakeeya went to answer the phone. It was the red head however that made Kaya finally snap. Coming down here, stealing from her bar, and throwing insults and jabs and reminders that Kaya was the fly in the web of the industry the twisted couple had built together. And now she was supposed to just shut up and let them flirt together while she just… took it? Without even realizing, Kaya stepped forward, a hand reaching out.
The quick click of the call being accepted, followed by the sound of his lover’s voice instantly brought relief on the Ancient. Hiran had nearly sighed into his phone when he first heard the chuckling, taking it a sign that she wasn’t in any danger by her maker. The taunt kept him from expressing anything beyond a frown, and if he could have shown it through his old gaze, he would rolled his eyes. Instead he started with a small intake of breath. “Shakeeya, where are you? I thought tonight we could go out for a fun little celebra-“ The sentence was cut short as he heard a second voice. Then a clatter before the call ended. He lowered the phone away from his face so he could stare down at the screen, his lips parting in shock. Was that…? No, it couldn’t be. The idea was impossible, but, he would know that voice anywhere. White eyebrows furrowed together over the thought. The ancient pressed the redial option and listened again to the ringing tone as he waited for his lover to answer.
“Fuck you!” Kaya shouted, a hand reaching for the device to grab hold of. She ripped it out from Shakeeya’s fingers and flicked her wrist, sending the phone flying before slamming into the concrete with a definite snap of cracking the screen. Kaya watched as it skidded across the floor, feeling satisfaction in the sound of it breaking, huffing partly in the pain the resulted from the quick sharp movement that stretched at her torn skin, and partly in the sudden rise of adrenaline that sparked her outburst. She snapped her head back with snarled lips and blazing eyes. The part of her that had been silent for years was breaking. She had done so much to ensure no one ever saw the rage that had been swirling in her body ever since she had to leave the royals, but why should she bother anymore? And the more that thought passed through her mind, the more she let the wrath lick at her foremost thoughts.
“I am not a toy to amuse you when you please, you psychotic basket case. How dare you come into my home with all your fuckery, and then drag him into this! You wanted to get my attention, you have it.”
Kaya took a wayward step back, the mixture blood seeping from her wounds and the rise of aggression making her head dizzy, but she wasn’t done. Shakeeya wanted to come down here and push around the trouble making fledgling around, but Kaya had enough of being the puppet the power couple made her out to be. Maybe her tolerance had been wiped away from the assault she had to deal with, but she knew it was deeper than that. She had been hiding this side of herself from Shakeeya for too long, and the threats the vampire made against the new life and people she had grown attached to, it sparked something. Sitting quietly didn't work last time. She had been promised then that staying out of the way was for the best, but it wasn't. All that did was bring her loneliness. If she wanted to keep the life she had always wanted, she just, couldn't run anymore. And that thought gave her the strength needed to finally speak up. Her eyes flickered to the battered phone as it weakly buzzed on the ground, the fractured screen lighting up with Hiran’s name yet again.
“I’m done with the both of you. I’m done with you and your constant nagging to tell me to keep hiding in the shadows the rest of my life. I’m fucking done with knowing that he gets to be all fucking merry in this life, when it’s because of you horrible people my husband is dead. I am DONE!” The words were screamed out until Kaya’s throat scratched, her eyes blurring in her bloody vampire tears from the mixture of rage and anguish. She felt her cheeks become wet as they escaped her lids, but she still tried to blink them away. She knew the sudden rise against the other vampire could result in a fight, and she wasn't willing to die tonight, despite what she wanted to say next. “So no, Shakeeya, I’m not running. You have ruined my life enough, and I won’t let it happen again. So you can either try to kill me, or hand me the fucking bottle of wine and we can discuss new terms. It’s your call.”

It was delightful to hear that deep, almost grumpy toned voice of his in response to her mad and upbeat manner of answering the call. She could almost see him in her mind, staring with a soft frown at a spot on the wall or at unfocused text before him. His hair might have actually grown back to a considerable length by now thank the devil. It was amazing how much her mind could stretch at being highly pissed off at his removal of locks that gave her such comfort and then so incredibly aroused to be claimed. Shakeeya licked her lips in memory of their last encounter. She'd barely registered Kaya's little spat before the Ancient had started calling. Kaya's needs and feelings were only mildly relevant when they coincided with her own. She was a selfish creature but at least she didn't try to hide it. Shakeeya could have been in a crowded room right now and the self absorbed veil would still have fallen around her and the voice on the other line. So much so that she didn't notice Hirans fledging's hand swipe out to rid her of the hand held device. The phone flew and the red head's hand stayed in place, frozen in a gripped position, her yellow eyes blinking a few times in surprise as her purring grin with pointed canine's disappeared entirely. 'What. The. Fuck.' She thought still a little rooted to the spot as her amber eyes swooped slowly over to where her phone lay pitifully. The touch screen cracked into little hairlines of glass. The artificial light it normally created now absent.
Her posture straightened and she looked over her little broken object that was ever so useful. Well that was inconvenient. Kaya was spitting and spatting and still in the midst of her breakdown as Shakeeya's face transformed into an almost bored frown, eyes finally snapping over while her body remained posed like marble. Kaya paused in her rant to collect her weakened body and Shakeeya decided to let her sarcastic and unempathetic comment roll out of her toothy mouth in that moment. "...you do know he's not -inside- the phone... don't you?" The condescending tone was more in annoyance than seriousness. Stupid Ancient brat child. She'd almost paid that phone off. And it had her entire work scheduele on it. Her ears pricked as the device clung to life however and began to light up through the fractured glass. Heh. Or maybe he did. Vampiric phone indeed.
There was no delight from prior though. He would surely be suspicious now. May have heard Kaya's yell as the phone had been struck. Shit... she couldn't lie around that small snippet of idiocy. And as Kaya became so heightened in her anger and frustration that it was impossible not to address, the petite red head felt that coiling desire once again. One she had moments ago so carefully walked away from. The lust of spilling the indian woman's dark blood all over this storage room floor. Hell, she would paint the walls with it. Redecorate this drab part of the club. Shakeeya's pupils constricted further and her fists lowered to her sides to flex and tremble. The injured vampiress was threatening to toss aside this delicate little truce. It wasn't working out for her anymore. Apparently she wanted to do whatever she wanted now. "Well. I seem to be getting the picture... fine. You want to take this road? You won't live long to see the end of the month I'm sure," Shakeeya's voice hissed out in a more raspy tone. There was no twisted mirth, no crazy amusement in the fledgling's distress. Kaya was going to get caught. Shakeeya couldn't kill her before that happened without Hiran eventually finding out. But now Shakeeya knew too well the alternative was worse for her to live through. So... someone else would have to do the job for her perhaps...
"So..." her dangerous expression shifted subtly, remaining poisonous but instead of uncoiling the murderous spring she was keeping taught inside of her, she let it remained buckled down. Ready for use another time. Shakeeya stepped back toward the barrel between the two women, candle wax now spilling gently onto the table cloth she had placed down, gingerly taking up her wine by the stem of the glass and swirling it beneath her brooding, unremorseful face. Before holding out the bottle toward Kaya, pointed nails perhaps grating against the glass as she shpwed restraint. "Now that you have that out of your system and I've decided it does not benefit me killing you at this present moment, I guess all we can do is talk," she shrugged and finally tipped some of the sweet, rich wine into her mouth after waiting for so long, pausing to give a grunt of appreciation despite how shitty this night had turned out to be before swallowing the mixture of blood and wine into her undead organs. "...still, I don't know how much talking we will get done before Hiran comes for you now that he heard your voice and could probably trace my phone if he figured it out without me," she took another sip, "So many smart moves tonight from you. I honestly can't keep track of them all. So... what's your marvellous, formidable plan mm?"
Her phone kept ringing and Shakeeya's eye may have twitched as she ignored the pull toward answering it. She wouldn't know what to say if she did. Perhaps she could say she was with a woman. A revenge fuck for all the torment Hiran had put her through. She tended to be bored with women in the long run though sexually and Hiran knew this. She could completely deny being with anyone and say she threw the phone herself in a deranged, bitter impulse. She could tell the truth... well. Not the entire truth. The red head's eyes peeled away from Kaya as she spoke, half listening as she devised part of her own plan. The long term game was looking more difficult now with the black and purple haired woman's rebellion, but Shakeeya was always one to rise to a challenge. "I tell him I found you..." her smile returned and she gave a little chuckle as she downed another hefty dose of wine. She technically did find Kaya... a long time ago. She could say she was going to return his prized possession. Until they fought and Kaya escaped. Because she was loyal and completely his. It would be a lie and she would be praised for it. The short term plan excited her, but that still didn't cover the long term in which Hiran either was constantly evaded by Kaya or she was dead. Those were the only options Shakeeya saw. To get what she truly wanted. Her twisted sentiments of love and power.

The sarcastic joke made Kaya all the more enraged, perhaps blinding her from the danger this meeting turned into. Older she may be, but she would inevitably lose should Shakeeya choose to fight over discuss new terms. Part of her wondered why she didn’t care as much as she should over that. The reason why the vampire was choosing to spit venom towards the insane red head was because she cared, of the people who came into her life, and the creatures she tried to help. Rye and Erakin came to mind and it was a reminder that she… didn’t care. About her life. Not when she had people who needed her to protect them from the coming doom built into the form of a large formidable dark man with white hair. So she took the jokes about her inevitable murder by being in wolf territory in stride. Perhaps it was true, and it would be the very creatures she surrounded herself with that would tear her to pieces, but at least she wasn’t hiding. It was better to be here, bleeding in the basement of her establishment with this insane red headed nightmare, than running and only giving a shit about her livelihood.
Kaya tensed as Shakeeya stepped back towards the table, bright bloodied eyes snapping towards the hand that reached for the wine. The thought trickled of her opponent trying to use the bottle as a weapon and she readied for any sudden movement, but none came except for the reach out as Shakeeya listened to the request of the dark haired fledgling wanting the bottle. She stared down at it as the red head spoke, and smirked as she finally reached out to grab the neck and pulled it up to her lips. She savored the taste, bitter from the experience and company, as she mulled over how to… work out the new relationship of keeping each other out their lives. In a way, it was going to be impossible. And that thought of what all of this meant, staying in Boston with Shakeeya knowing and even helping her remain in this city, made the wine even more bitter.
“He already knows I’m here. The connection from the fight a few days ago…” Kaya peered down at the bottle in her hands, watching the dark liquid roll behind the tinted glass. She could still remember the invasion of his influence over her, listening, smelling the bloodied air, and the sensations of her body ripped from the claws of werewolves. She had been blind from the force of her skull cracking, and it was probably why the force of him had been so strong, as she had been moments from death that night. Her brows furrowed together as she shook off the mental chill of remembering how close the two had been connected. “The fact that he hasn’t already made his way down into this city, means he’s planned something else. I’m already pretty certain he’s sent goons to spy on me.” Suddenly all her little jokes were being played back on her. She had named her club after the nickname Hiran had given her as a practical joke on the stereotypes vampires had for themselves, but now it just made it a bright beacon to easily find her. The vampire sighed, running a hand through her messy hair in agitation. It had been years since her life took such a turn in such a short amount of time.
The hand through her tangled strands paused as the phone again buzzed from an incoming call from the Ancient, and like Shakeeya, looked over towards the broken device. Though in her case she felt dread at who was on the other end. Shakeeya wanted to hear a plan on how to rework their deal, but to be honest, Kaya didn’t have a clue on how she could make it work. The most effective method was to get Shakeeya to open up and look for weaknesses in the fortress that was Hiran’s territory in New York. Being able to infiltrate would lead to her finally being able to carry out her plan; kill the Ancient. But there was no way she could get her maker’s lover to cooperate. She brought the bottle up to her lips again for another soured inhale. But she nearly spat it out at Shakeeya’s sudden joke, and instead coughed into the wine as she tried to hold back a harsh laugh.
“And would what that give you? A pissed off Ancient who’ll learn you’ve betrayed him, keeping me secret for years.” Kaya retorted back, wiping at her mouth to clear off the mess she made in her surprise. “Face it, Shakeeya. You’re the one in more danger of being killed by the thing you live with than I am. I may live with wolves, but you’re the one fucking a ticking time bomb. Just how many close enounters have you made under his anger?” She shook her head and frowned at the other women, leaning her back into the barrels to balance off some of the exhaustion.
“Besides, I wouldn’t go back quietly even if you tried your method. I’m staying here.” She sighed, closing her eyes in contemplation. Her plan… it was one sided, but it was worth a shot. “If you want me to stay out of your way, I’m going to need your help. I’ve been working with the Greybacks on making sure Hiran doesn’t invade their territory, but I also… do what I can to make sure they don’t try and expand themselves. It’s just that I’m running low on intel. Vampires… they don’t talk to me. I need more help knowing what’s happening and why the trade groups are suddenly moving in to the Americas. Something… happened this week, didn’t it?” Kaya had felt it during her connection, the frustration in the Ancient. And right now, Shakeeya was the only one who could tell her why.

As she swirled and sipped and slowly tasted the wine in her poised grasp, Shakeeya listened to the woman before her speak. She didn't bother changing the bored expression on her face because honestly she'd much rather be elsewhere. Anywhere. Maybe speaking with Ranier was less irritating? Only just. She rolled the liquid around her mouth, pausing in thought as Kaya mentioned her suspicions of Hiran sending little spies into her club. No doubt they had already been in here for months, attempting to gather Greyback intel previously. And now it would be so easy for Hiran to close in on his blood child. The red head blinked and lowered her vision in realisation. It was done. Unless Kaya fled, which she fucking wouldn't, Hiran had her. He didn't to stroll in as himself. He had an empire now that would get the job done for him. It would just be a matter of being patient for the right moment to strike as a team of vampires inside werewolf territory closed in. It wouldn't be hard as the club was already located on the edge of the packlands as a neutral zone for all species.
She wanted to growl in frustration but swallowed it with her wine as Kaya spat a laugh in her direction at Shakeeya's suggestion of a truthful lie. Apart from turning herself into some loyal, faithful lover who would do any of Hiran's bidding, Shakeeya was fresh out of ideas. And as much as Hiran expected pure loyalty from her, in this particular topic, things became a little hazy. It would be unlikely he would believe her 'good intentions' as an excuse of coming into contact with Kaya. The petite woman couldn't contain the soft hiss that followed as she firmly placed her glass down on the barrel and yellow clashed with crimson. "Tch!" Was all she managed to spit back in retaliation as Kaya's words hit so close to home in an unguarded way. Her face was twisted in an irritated, loathing fashion for the other vampiress. Not uncommon. But such words were enough to stir the barely healed wound of her lover turning on her yet again in his rage. In his darkening form that she was beginning to lose grasp of. That could have so easily ended her over a week ago. No matter how hard she tried to dig up words to throw back at Kaya, her mouth became dry as a bone and her brain stalled. Stuck in a loop of Hiran's hands digging out the flesh around her ribs, ripping the borrowed life from out of her in a crazed fashion. As if she were nothing. Not his survivor. Not his anything.
Her waver in self confidence was so uncharacteristic and left her in a quiet moment of self reflection, caging her desire to lash out and instead leaning both hands down onto the table cloth, sharp nails catching at the fabric as she listened. Any threats about Kaya minding her own business about her relationship were lost as the vampiress began making her demands. Her rather one sided and almost tedious demand of more intel. "Pah!" She sounded out her ignorance of it all, "I'm not surprised you're running out of vampire friends. You almost smell completely of werewolf since you're rubbing up against them all the time... fine. You want information? I happen to be a first hand witness to the shit storm that was about to hit this part of the country. I mean... it still could. I doubt my maker will just roll over and accept failure of joining forces with Hiran."
The red head paused for effect and to judge Kaya's response to the intel. "I have your attention? Hmm. I have plenty more juicy little secrets for you too. But it will cost you. Disappear. ...for a few days at least. He will come otherwise. Tomorrow I presume with the amount of little spiders doing his bidding in this cesspool." Her eyes motioned above her to the club that was emptying out, ignoring any come back before standing up straight once more and scooping up her wine glass to pour the rest of it's contents down her throat. She licked her blood stained lips in a silent moment before mentally selecting what details to tell the Ancient's fledgling. "There was supposed to be a merger a few nights ago. Hiran had masterfully organised negotiations with the european clan that seemed so... closed off to doing business with him in the past. I wonder why," it was pretty obvious why. "...It just so happened that the royal family sent their chief advisor in their place. An Elder vampire who turns a new vampire child almost every week. It's like a hobby for him. Or perhaps an addiction.... they're his loyal army you see. Turned with specific methods to make them perfectly obedient. Such an impressive vampire, who even managed to turn me," her last sentence was heavy with sarcasm and distaste that it was unmistakable, "Ranier wanted his share of power in the inevitable take over of the Greyback territory along with the... business expansion. But. Hmm." She sniffed before a smirk began to flash across her face. "My dear beloved did not see eye to eye with Ranier." She placed her empty glass down and raised her glowing orbs back over to Kaya, waiting to see what she would do with this information.
"You tell your dogs all of this and more if you so wish. Alot of good it will do them. Even if the merger was not made official, there are plenty more options at Hiran's disposal. Vampire, werewolf, fae. Even humans," a dark chuckle slipped out from her chest as her insanity flashed across her face, "Do tell me how they react? I wish I could see the Alpha bitch's face myself."

Kaya would have been ashamed at the glee that filled her damaged and shredded body at the look of disdain on Shakeeya’s face, if it wasn’t for the fact that was this Shakeeya that she had finally one upped in their power play of a conversation. She had hit a nerve and it felt damn good in that moment for the red head to sit there and think over the fact that Kaya was right. But at the same time, there was a twinge of guilt over why she was right. Yes, the wildling of a vampire was in love with a monster, but wasn’t Kaya also guilty of falling in love with someone she shouldn’t? The thought wiped the indian woman of any expression for a moment as she resisted the need to bring up the aching pain in her eyes, willing away the memories of her past and focus more on the twisted features that constantly changed the shifting expressions of her comrade. The stoic silence did not last long as she reminded of how alone she was when it came to befriending her own kind, and Kaya’s upper lip shifted to bare a fang in warning towards Shakeeya. She had half a mind to tell off the other woman before the subject of the red head’s maker came, and Kaya’s eyes widened in shock. Of all the reasons for what was happening to Hiran’s territory, the possibility that it had to do at all with Shakeeya’s personal life was on the bottom of Kaya’s list. The unexpected discovery made the woman still.
The vampire pursed her lips and scrunched her eyebrows in displeasure at Shakeeya’s command to hide away for a few days. Personally, she didn’t see what the difference would come out of her disappearing when the vampires already knew she was here. It wasn’t like she would leave permanently. Surely they already saw the connections she had to the Greybacks. But… if that’s what it would take… With a sigh and a hand through her tangled hair, she nodded once in agreement. Erakin would have to come, as there was no way he would let her out of her sight, but before she could mull over the specifics of what to do, the mad vampire spoke again. Kaya’s head immediately snapped up at the mention of the european groups came into the discussion, and a chill ran over her. Gods, don’t let it be…
“R-Ranier?” The question was mixed with disbelief, the hand holding the bottle nearly slipping before she remembered to grasp back onto its neck and let it touch the floor. The shock made it hard to stay focused as Shakeeya continued. Kaya had only met with the vampire a small handful of times, but she remembered him well. The vampire had done dealings with her once extended family, and she had hated the man. The knowledge that he was Shakeeya’s creator made the vampire numb. She kept her gaze on the other, looking to see if this was some sort of twisted joke, but as Shakeeya stared back in attempt to collect Kaya’s discomforts, a small breath of disbelief left her lips. She didn’t even know where to start. She knew about the army of Ranier… was Shakeeya one of them? No. Obviously. She was much too wild and feral. She was obviously a reject. No wonder she took to Hiran like a moth to a flame. Her carnal desires were because of the torments she had seen from the other reject fledglings the Tureaux’s had met in the past. But while Kaya struggled with the strong sense of sympathy with realizing the torments of the red head’s past, she was terrified of the idea that the royal vampire family was finally on their way towards finding her.
“You already know I can’t tell them what this all really means. Why a royal bloodline is sniffing out here in the states.” Kaya said, smirking in bitterness as her nails clamped hard into the palm of her hands, the pain of slicing her skin keeping her from reeling into the panic attack at the idea that the royals were closing in on her, to repay her for killing one of their own. “Fuck, what a mess this is, and you can’t even see it.” Kaya dragged her hands in front of her, wincing as she pried her nails from her flesh to stare down at the blood that dripped from her nails and palms. The pain helped in keeping her from the darkness at the reminder that this was all her fault, for falling in love. And here she was, making the same mistakes yet again. “I’ll give you four days, Shakeeya. If I’m gone any longer the wolves will ask around, and for both our sakes we can’t have that happen. So go back to your master, but… be careful. Ranier is not gone. He’s still here, lurking somewhere. I have no doubt part of his plan is to sniff me out. And even with an Ancient’s rejection he wouldn’t ignore the Tureaux’s order to have my head.”
A small vacation with the grumpy werewolf, where they could have a moment to be alone and breathe, sounded nice, despite the reason for them doing so. But it hung heavy in Kaya’s chest on what her future was bringing.
As if by chance the moment that the vampire decided to abandon her city, was exactly the time her blood sibling found the club that she owned. It didn’t take much once he started looking into places if you knew how to look for her, like looking up to see which area had lower unexplained attacks and deaths, and less blood draining. Or a rise in new yet inaccessible buildings that brought traffic to the more secluded sections in cities. It was predictable and boring, and he was amazed Hiran hadn’t caught on sooner. Bright bloodied eyes studied the entrance of the Black Rose with a sneer. Of course his little sister would use her nickname as a bar name. He rolled his shoulders in his light grey and purple striped suit and shook his head only a smidge before walking forward, but it didn’t take long to realize that it wasn’t going to be that easy to get inside. The vampire at the door held out a hand to stop him and asked to see it… It? Tico creased a brow towards the vampire man. The evidence of a newcomer and possible troublemaker immediately made the bouncer snort and with a shooing motion, told the man with the pierced face to beat it.
“You’re shitting me.” But nothing could be done, and not wanting to make a scene and blow his own cover, Tico had to retreat and figure out a new plan. It wasn’t that big a deterrent really. He had only just gotten to Boston and still worked on his options on spying on his sister when his sensitive caught a whiff of more supernaturals along the street. Curious at the thought that they gathered in more than one location, he followed the trail only to find himself in front of another club. But one more his style. Pierced lips spread into a grin and a hand scratched at the goatee before he walked into the strip club. No security asking for passes, garish music and a mixture of men and women alike. Obviously his sister needed to up her game, because this was how to live.
It didn’t take long for the man to find himself a seat, red eyes casting in directions of the varied choices of dancers as his hands fiddled with a pack of cigarettes in his side pocket, slipping one between his lips before realizing he had in fact not brought a lighter with him. He plucked the cig out and rubbed at his temple with a sigh. Not a big deal, but after already losing his first chance at slipping into the club he intended for, his positive attitude was wavering.
“What a fucking night.”

Shakeeya didn't bother to hide the initially curious and soon confirming motion of a quirk of her eyebrow and tilt of her head. Yes, Ranier. That French rat. Damn abomination of the vampiric balance in this world. She pondered for approximately half of a second as to how Kaya knew of him and then decided that she didn't care. The less energy she wasted on that dark haired, slick talking creator the better. There was a look in the woman's red orbs that she caught. The short haired vampiress wasn't fantastic at normal, human-like emotion but was it a flicker of pity she recognised? For whom though? As soon as a small frown of offense began to scrunch up between the red head's eyebrows, the Ancient's fledging was continuing on with the topic of how much of a shit storm this all was. Shakeeya snorted unashamedly and contemplated having another glass of wine. No. Best not. Her yellow eyes glanced toward her deceased phone as a side thought.
"I'm good with mess, Wilting Rose," she spoke in a thick patronising manner before strolling over to scoop up the debris of her smart phone before pivoting on the balls of her feet in an almost unnatural way as if the ground was shifting beneath her, Shakeeya's face on the border of a sneer with half lidded eyes as she prepared to depart. "I know very well the way Ranier's mind works," she drawled, not in a victimised or troubled sense but as if she were commenting on the weather and the irritating chill it brought, "He will be teaming up with the next best option and playing a new game. But for now I'm too busy being the clean up crew for your little werewolf fiasco." Such a fucking annoyance that she was obviously not shy about expressing. "..Enjoy your vacation," she said in such a sweet tone that it would certainly come off as unnerving. A few nimble steps and the candles were snuffed. A few more and Shakeeya had vanished outside of the club leaving the red eyed woman to pick up anything that was left of her life before it truly began to unravel. The red haired vampiress would have preferred this to be less entangled and complicated but... it seemed the more dangerous this whole scenario became, the more she could feel rhe shadow of a racing heart in her chest. The thrill and logical wariness was causing her to feel giddy as she scaled a few more rooftops before dropping down beside her driver who dropped his cigarette with a cry of surprise. "Take me to Hiran," she ordered bluntly before sliding into the leather interior. Now how to play her lover. This could be the most dangerous move yet.
There were werewolves wanting to rip her throat out the first chance they got in these parts, and her creator waiting in the shadows for his next move which would undoubtedly end up being something else for her to clean up. But the biggest threat to her undead existance was the heavenly creature she stayed closest to. Shakeeya would never admit that out loud, but the waver in her loyalty was beginning to become noticable to her. If she survived until morning with her explainations for her where abouts, then she would think some more on her new indecisions with her blood partner. For now she would tell truthful lies, charming stories and hopefully get a good angry fuck out of the Ancient before her vagina completely dried up.
The car drove away from the Black Rose club, and further still from Sai's new establishment that was now bright and pumping at the opposite end of the street, residing a little further in to the Greyback territory. The bass of club music could be heard from the road quite easily by human ears, let alone werewolf kind. A low fuschia glow bordered the building's perimeter but not much else gave it an explanation. There was no neon signs or security ever posted outside the doors. Strictly by word and mouth, by scent and sounds. Not that the werewolf owner would ever exclude humans. He had many human friends. Friends who were all sorts of things, whether they were born that way or not. It... just made it a bit less of a headache when there were no humans around. Despite their fractured friendship, Sai actually thought very highly of Kaya and her business ethics. And how the hell she managed to avoid any drama with supernaturals and humans was beyond a stressful idea for him. Perhaps it helped having the main source of donated blood and infused liqueurs for the vampire community. Less temptation. The man of Japanese origin did offer plenty of other temptations in this establishment however. Whether it was simple fun and booze and dancing. More structured music entertainment and gigs from supernatural groups. And as the evening grew longer, more sensual and lustful options would emerge. He enjoyed being here tonight. It was barely work for him compared to his main position in life as Beta in the Greyback pack. Sure he had to deal with staffing and pay rolls and events, but that was all a minor annoyance when reflecting on a days work of following every command of his Alpha. It was his purpose and he would change nothing about his life. But god damn it had gotten real dark, real quickly recently. The tensions between the vampiric New York territory and the werewolf Boston community were crackling at the moment. Morrigan was the fiercest and most cunning leader he had witnessed during his time in the pack, but even she was showing the strain behind the scenes as it were. Maybe that was the main reason he encouraged the distraction that was Tobias Sterling. That guy sure had a few layers of surprises. Starting off as a meek pick up as a forced recruit for the Greybacks and turning out to have rather tight family connections to the nomadic pack that had been causing so much trouble and damage to Kaya's donated blood supplies. And it just kept getting better now that he had a lead on this rabies virus that had struck down a decent portion of the Greybacks over a year ago. Sai liked him. He was a good egg. "But the thing is. Like. I know all of these developments are way more important and vital to the Boss getting answers but... he actually made her smile the other day. I mean. I think it was a smile. Maybe she was gassy?" he shot down a lovely warm vodka with a grin toward the sweet, blonde barman who worked for him and put up with his ramblings. Venting of words and the body some nights. "But anyway. I just had to say that out loud to someone so that if something actually happens there, I have someone to back me up and say 'Sai called it' ya know? But, well. That depends on Morgz still remembering how to do anything remotely close to sexual. The amount of men and women I've left in her suite as a gift to unwind. And nothing. So we'll see," Eli had turned away to serve someone else now and Sai couldn't help but give an entitled pout. "Hey how dare you do your job. Come listen to me scheme pointlessly!" A soft smirk tugged at his pale face before he swiveled around on his stool to watch over the light crowd that was currently gathered. Some entertainment was due to start in about an hour so he would expect things to pick up around then.
His keen light brown eyes did catch something a little out of the ordinary however. He noticed the suit first, the club not necessarily holding a very strict dress code. He noticed the dark hair tinted with a splash of purple which made him think of another vampire he knew with similar hair. And then he saw a handsome face with an expression of genuine interest in his surroundings. "Clara. Go and serve that new customer pretty please?" He called over one of the girls who wore a skin tight black dress and a very smiley, approachable face. She rocked at easing off any hostilities and was his 'go to' server for approaching anyone he was unsure of. Clara smiled and smoothed a hand through her straight brown hair. "Sure thing," she said with a deeper voice than what a woman might be typically born with. "Anything on the house. And. Maybeee. Yeah, move him to one of the VIP lounges the next level up. Just incase," the guy looked like money and class on a stick. Better to make a good impression.
Clara swaggered over to the newcomer with a sultry grace and a not so shy flick of her heavily fake eyelashed lids over toward the bar where her boss sat watching after her with a neutral expression for now. Sai was naturally extroverted and sometimes overly friendly, but despite his runaway mouth and perverse sense of humour, he didn't get this far in life by being an idiot. "With respects from my employer Mr. Nakano. If there is anything you require in order to endulge yourself this evening, please do not hesitate to ask," Clara gave a wink after the short walk as she motioned at the lucious reserved couch that was sectioned off in it's own viewing platform of the dancefloor below. "Welcome to the The Coy Pond, Mister...?"
Sai was so proud of the club name and it's play on words. Morrigan thought it was terrible. Pshh. And it didn't take him long to let curiousity get the better of him and follow after Clara as she took the patron's order with smiles and obedience only for Sai to brush past her as she turned to head for the bar. "I can take the welcoming party from here thankyou Clara. Get yourself a drink too along with our friend's here," a lopsided and genuine smile split his face as he watched the new man up close. Very suave looking indeed. What had lured this lovely morsel in here? "So did you follow a good review or your nose? I mean, I do try my best to smell lovely. Sai," he offered his hand out to shake in greeting.

Despite the frown and the wavering dark thoughts as he brooded over his night being cut short from his initial plan, Tico was not about to let it ruin his fun in a place that was definitely more to his tastes. His crimson eyes glimmered as they switched between both the male and female dancers this place offered, a small smirk tugging at the edge of his lips. He reclined back in his seat, letting his body loosen after the night of getting absolutely nothing done besides embarrassing himself outside of Kaya’s place, and tuck the cigarette behind an ear as his fingers rested against his cheek as he leaned an arm on the armchair. He was allowed a night off every once and a while. Surely his dear grandfather could understand if there was a delay to their plans in completely fucking up the order that was the werewolf city that Kaya chose for her home. Well, maybe he wouldn’t. For someone who’s died more times than even a vampire should have been able to, De’Crolie was pretty consistent with wanting his schedule to move according to plan, and unfortunately for the slick thai descendant vampire, most of the work fell on his shoulders.
For tonight he could just conveniently let himself forget that he was supposed to make the initial contacts, mind turning more towards the cute little breasts and the bulging spandex of the mixed performers. Fingers scratched at his chin, wondering who the lovely specimen could have been to have thought up intermingling the dancers to let give him the eye candy for the evening.
Apparently a Mr. Nakano. Tico’s eyes shot up as soon as he heard the footsteps aimed for him, watching the pretty little wolf girl smile down at him. His lips curled back into his renowned sneer towards her, flashing his fangs in his greet. Wolves tasted disgusting, but he would have had no problems taking the plunge anyway to make such a delightful little creature squeal underneath him. “How generous of him.” Tico slinked his way gracefully out of the chair as he followed the delicious little girl, quirking a pierced brow as she brought him to what was obviously a location for those the establishments held in high regard; the ones with money. The vampire smirked towards his help before he would sit. “Schmidt.” He offered for his last name as he took a step backwards towards his new chair, still keeping his predatory watch on her as his teeth itched. “A scotch,Fräulein, if it’s not too much trouble.”
It didn’t take long for Tico’s fun to be interrupted, though he didn’t look up right away as the man stood near his seat. He could smell the wolf in the man, and the lingering presence of something more powerful, which made his brain tick in the thought. Somehow, the stranger was part of something in the Greybacks, and it took him a moment longer than it should have before his head turned upwards with another fanged smile behind his pierced lip. The smile widened as he saw the pretty face, full of cockiness and smug. Perfect. “Smell. Couldn’t pass up the scent of cum and booze if my life depended on it. This wasn’t my original goal for tonight, but it’s infinitely better than what I was supposed to be doing.”
The vampire extended his hand out to grasp at the wolf, ice from his dead force meeting fire of the hot blooded wolf. “Tico.” He offered with a chuckle. “Is this your place, Sai? How in the world did you manage to convince the city to let you have a mixed range of dancers? Getting girls to wear just shorts in my bar back home is a fucking headache. I can’t imagine the red tape, though the reward is worth it, I’m sure.”

The vampire's numerous piercings had Sai's soft brown eyes scanning over each metal piece before finally baring a broader smile at the hand exchanged back in return. He'd been around long enough to not become rudely surprised at the vast difference in temperature between their species, but his hand did feel particularly smooth and stone like, even to the werewolf. He gave a firm squeeze before allowing his hand to fall free and took a step back to lean his elbow against the railing that overlooked the dance floor. It even helped steadying him at the immediate blunt way that the new patron spoke, a sudden laugh barking forward from his chest. Quite a relief actually. He knew he wouldn't have to hold his tongue as much around a stranger if they broke the ice in such a way. "Wow, that's the scent is it? Well," he chuckled and glanced up to the ceiling in mock thought, "I should put that on the market. What do ya think? Make a fortune on cologne for those with fine taste mm?"
For the stressful start this business was, and the rocky moments it had experienced, things were just beginning to get comfortable for the Greyback member. He could come in to work and not feel like he was a fraud and didn't know what the fuck he was doing. He knew the ins and outs, had ironed out any teething problems. There was a balance of regular clientele both legal and semi-illegal tender wise. He could also just come and socialise with like minded souls. One of his staff joked that he set this whole establishment up just so he could have the prime grazing grounds at getting a kinky lay, which he had to admit sounded like something his subconscious would do. A life outside pack dramas was even more welcomed. But seeing or hearing the apreciation for this oasis of sexual expression, that was what Sai was beginning to know as his favourite perk.
"It's taken a bit of work, and of course not on my lonesome," his broad smile remained with a cocky chin tilt added, "But yeah, this is my place." So come on in you blunt little minx! "Ugh. Yeah, that was definitely one of the biggest headaches on my list but not surprising in these times, it's not about how much you know about jumping through hoops and saying the right things... it's about who you know and how much money you can throw at them," he gave a dry widening of his eyes and raise of his eyebrows toward Tico at the exasperation of such matters. And he felt his motor mouth needed to clean up after himself incase he was speaking to one of the wrong people here. "Not that any of this is illegal here, just frowned upon. Where abouts are you from, Tico? Sounds awfully dull," he chuckled softly before giving the man a habitual once over.
"A bottle of our finest scotch for Mr. Schmidt," he heard the low, sultry tone of Clara above the music, approaching from beside the conversing men with amber liquid in a modern minimalist designed bottle. Sai was more picking up on the name however and couldn't hold back the small snickering snort. "Schmidt, is it..." his smirk and tone told the world he totally didn't buy that, "Well I gotta tell ya. We welcome most everyone here. With the greatest discretion in whatever business or tastes you have burning inside you. As long as no one's getting hurt, it's all good fun. Am I right?" Clara glanced between the two men with an expression that could only be described as having 20/20 vision through bullshit. "You finished eye fuckin' each other or can I go?" Sai burst into laughter and turned his head toward the sassy woman before pushing himself back up off the railing. "Yeah go on then. Can you check on the band setting up? Make sure they're ready on time tonight?" "Mmm," Clara flashed a smile down toward their new client, wondering what he would make of an all male band in g-strings. She gathered her serving plate, crossing her arms over it infront of her stomach, resting her large breasts ontop. "They asked me before if you would prefer them to open with 'Candy Shop' or 'Thong Song'..." "Uh..." he glanced to his new customer, perhaps any other professional manager might have looked awkward or embarrassed about such a trashy topic, but instead gave an expression as if he was offended at the question and drew the vampire in to the discussion. "Thong Song obviously. How could they not think that was a given?"

The laugh the man offered Tico soothed down the inner blood lust creature that lurked inside, knowing something more fun could come out of tonight. His blunt honesty seemed to earn him favors, wiping away any hesitations in being straight with each other, which was always a fucking relief. The business world, even as dirty as his practices were, were always too stiff for the vampire’s tastes. He figured an owner with dicks on the walls as a decoration choice really wouldn’t care that much if the red eyed stranger made it known clearly where his interests lied. The payoff was worth it as the wolf joked back about colognes with the smell of cum and Tico sneered with a deep chuckle. “Mix it up with a little flare of copper for the vamp scene, and you’d probably have a whole other industry on your hands.” He joked back, eyes flicking down to the wolf’s neck in hint of where his mind was going.
Tico laughed, flashing his sharp fangs, as Sai talked of the dirty little secrets that came with running a club of questionable morals. Then the concern that he may have revealed too much about the fine lines of what was legal and not made the vampire laugh harder, rearing his head back towards the chair. Tico couldn’t give a shit. Most of his life was dealt with getting caught up in the nitty gritty movements that went along with his species and their inner desires for rageful bloodfests. He wiped at the corner of one his eyes to drag away the small hint of red that leaked through as Sai tried to inquire where the stranger was from. It really was dull. All of the real fun was starting to happen overseas now that the Corporates were trying to sink their teeth onto land that didn’t come with the bullshit rules that the Royals were trying to constantly drive down their throats back overseas. Before the vampire could open his lips to answer the pretty little wolf however, Clara rounded back with his drink. “Thank you, Fräulein.” Tico offered, grabbing the bottle and the glass and started to help himself as he heard Sai pipe up with a not so convinced tone as he repeated the name. Tico flashed his red gaze towards the young pup with a grin. “I’m currently from Germany, and after a few centuries last names just change with the times. For us cold blooded bastards, we tend to just stick with what’s the norm for the modern age.” He winked at the man as he leaned back though snorted again as he swirled the glass in hand. The sudden interruption of pretty little Clara made Tico snap his head towards the girl, tongue flicking at the bottom lip ring as he watched her hungrily. If she wanted to stay and keep them entertained, he had a few ideas how she could make it happen.
Sai’s calm happy demeanor broke Tico out of his thoughts, and he smirked towards the man before looking towards the dancers, taking a sip in contemplation. He listened to the conversation as his eyes switched from the glittered down breasts to the shiney packages that encased the dicks and balls, mind turning its gears as he tried to understand the scent that was laced with the natural wolf tint for Sai. What lucky member did he manage to stumble into by stepping foot into this club? It seemed rather idiotic to keep anyone of importance close to that insufferable sister of his, but wolves had never been too bright when it came to understanding the subtleties of the vampire kind. The wolf tendency to be morons however was just the streak of luck that Tico needed tonight. If he played his cards right, maybe he didn’t need to try and get inside the Black Rose for the information he was trying to sneak around for. The thought made the man use his free fidgeting hand to pluck the cigarette from his ear and place back between his lips, ready to light it up when he remembered, again, he didn’t have a fucking lighter. The vampire rolled his eyes as he looked back towards the flamboyant wolf and his delicious little server.
Tico smirked up towards the wolf with the cig in between his lips in silent agreement. “Good choice, Sai. Don’t think I could complete my night without hearing it.”
The vampire finally pulled up the drink to his lips as he plucked out the dry cigarette and savored the taste of the drink without the bloodied substance. Lips pursed as he mulled over the taste, taking the time to figure out how he’d like this night to go. The idea of watching the dancers do their things and enjoy the shitshow that was dance numbers was tempting, but he had a golden opportunity to try and sway something out of the high ranking member of this goddamn pack. It certainly couldn’t be denied that the pup was staring him down with some other train of thought, and Tico wouldn’t pass up the idea of getting something a little more out of it. The hand continued to swirl his scotch before he looked towards the owner, answering an older question to keep the man here and in his presence.
“To be all honest with yah, I was supposed to be over at that snazzy little place right down the street. Friends however failed to mention the way you’re supposed to get inside the place. Buncha idiots.” Tico shrugged as if it were no big deal as his fingers swirled the cigarette in hand as his arm rested on the armchair. “You ever been over there? They were raving about it the other night, though I’m guessing it doesn’t have dildos in lieu of coat hangers.”

The trade of wit and charm became immediately comfortable, and Sai found himself chuckling along quite easily as Tico donated some much appreciated observation and humour. Sai was certainly a social creature, an extroverted spirit who could strike up a conversation with the quietest of people. Perhaps whether they wanted to or not. But when he found someone with such a similar skill of trading charisma, it was a recipe for a great night. The work hat he had metaphorically placed on his dark head when he walked in this evening began to slip tremendously. Clara was always just happy to work and play simultaneously, so was not shy in delivering a pleasant smile back to the new customer as he thanked her with his national pet name. "Well fair enough," Sai responded with a genuine tip of his head before chuckling at his own situation, "Where as we wolves are too stubborn to change ours." Forget his own heritage and keeping his surname just to spite his disapproving father. Although the Greyback Alpha's surname changed hands or was married out, they still continued to chime on about their ancestors and the original werewolf that built up the pack from the beginning, with his shining silver hair leading his followers to believe he was some kind of demi god of their kind, immune to silver as it was part of his body. Ironically, he died to a silver scythe to the heart which the pack passed down generation to generation now. How drab and stubborn was that!
And despite owning a surname that didn't match the exterior in Sai's opinion, the new customer seemed to gel well within these walls. The manager let out a pleased grunt and sent a hand gesture toward the seated vampire as if show casing him to the world. "-Thank-you," he smiled and placed emphasis on the man's point of agreeing with him before making eyes at Clara. She apparently hadn't agreed in a previous conversation, rolling her eyes in dramatic fun before turning on the ball of her foot and leaving the pair to chat. She would be back to check on them shortly. She made good tips from the VIP visitors and this one certainly was friendly. The music hummed and pumped for the dancers to pick up their paces, gyrating playfully against one another and laughing before continuing on with their indivual styles and routines on platforms. Sai watched attentively as Tico's hands absent mindedly toyed with his cigarette and therefore the idea of having a smoke. The vampire's eyes fixed on the dancers for a period where Sai wondered if he indeed thirsted for other things too. Much like himself who could never seem to be satisfied for long.
"Here," he finally piped up before Tico began to talk about what had led him here, the werewolf's large hand dipping into his pocket to retrieve a lighter. He didn't smoke himself and he didn't allow it to choke up the dancefloor in his club. But the VIPs were raised enough that they could do whatever they please. Part of the allure in returning his clients back to him. Sai took it upon himself to gently sit beside the other man, a polite arm's distance away as he reached out with the lighter and flicked the flame to life with his thumb, all the while absorbing Tico's words with genuine curiousity. A laugh was easily earned as the vampire finished on a note about his decore choice. There were indeed coat racks of dildos in the foyer, and as you walked around swirling central bar in the building (which stayed with this pond theme) other such objects and arts became a more bolder interior design the deeper you delved into the club. "Well. What can I say. It's a taste not shared by some," he continued to chuckle before shrugging as the Thai man's cigarette glowed, tapping the lid back over the lighter to diffuse the flame and reclined in the sofa thoughtfully, soft brown eyes falling to the dancers now himself. "She's a good friend. Well. Was, I guess. The manager knows what she's doing with her place, I'll give her that. Even helped me set this place up. Buuuut the competition might have... tainted that relationship. But hey. I saw it as a service; getting all those perverted souls out of her bar and back home where they belong," he flashed a grin to the side toward the man before his eyes scanned the dancers again. Fun and sexual, but not trashy and desperate. Sai had always seen the night as a prolonged form of foreplay, slowly warming up throughout the night. Showing more skin, entertainment growing more daring and provocative. His employees were safe. He made sure of that. Just as he would as a high ranking pack member. If they didn't feel like being touched tonight then that was fine. If they wanted to blow every guy and girl in the building, hey that was fine too.
"The Black Rose did you a favour I'd say. I mean sure, you could be dining with some predrawn bloody cocktail. Or you could have wandered down the street to this little treat" the conversation was easy. Sai would have perhaps used the brief pause to wish the client a good evening and to enjoy his night the way he wished. To call him over if he needed anything at all. But the rehearsed verse he normally sprouted by now never made it past his lips the first few times it entered his brain and then soon the idea was gone completely. This guy liked a chat. And he was a fucking riot. Along with damn easy on the eye. By the time Clara returned to check on them however, Sai wondered if his new friend might prefer the busty woman over a promiscuous manager. He was far too busy along such trains of thought to even be vaguely aware that certain conversations would steer toward Kaya and her bar, and of the sinister nature of the plan that was going to follow after this night. "You need me Clara?" Sai asked, a touch of apology in his tone for being gone from the main bar for so long. The woman shook her head and instead provided some fresh glasses and ice for the drinks. "Oh well, guess you're just in time to watch from the best seat in the house then," Sai jeered teasingly as the band began tinkering and striking at their guitars before walking out on the cosy stage at the head of the dancefloor below. Each musician looked butt naked, their skimpy underwear obscures by a guitar or drum kit as 'Thong Song' began to fill the club with it's cheeky bass. "Can we convince you to stick around for a little longer ya think Tico?" Sai turned with a smirking grin toward his chatty customer.

When your most common social partner was a twice deceased psychopath who had no idea the common basics of the modern era, it was easy to latch onto those who talked about more than just the good old day. The old days where humans knew of the supernatural world and were terrified of them, and the remembrance of bathing in blood. The usual mumbo jumbo that the decrepit old creep went on about whenever they mingled face to face. It was always a goddamn relief to be out in the normal world again, talking with creatures that were interested in more than just the idea of human domination and the end of all kind while vampires reigned supreme. It was a fun thought, but boring to constantly discuss over and over again all the while being scolded for not making it happen fast enough. Tico wouldn’t deny that putting it aside for a night so he could indulge in himself just a little, while also gaining some information that would help prove he wasn’t just wasting his time was the biggest motivation for staying in his seat and watched the pretty little wolf spiel off about what musical performance with scantily clad men would walk out on stage tonight. The only thing that would make it better was carrying on with his human habit of smoking. He had been an idiot in more than one way tonight but perhaps it was for the best. It gave some evidence to his little story that he had a flaw of being neglectful of little details, whether it be asking some imaginary friends for the access to the club down the street or a simple lighter to encourage his disgusting habits that humans now frowned over. Whatever. It wasn’t as though he would be capable of developing cancer because of the little sticks.
Bright red eyes snapped to the sound of the owner talking and then the lighter the wolf had retrieved from his pants. The vampire smiled as he plucked the stick back between his lips and eased towards the hands that flicked the flame to life. He lingered as he watched the flame light up the end of the cig and enjoyed the close range between him and the other man before he drew in a breath to spark life to the nicotine. He leaned away and drew the drag away as he exhaled the smoke towards the stage, enjoying the laugh that came with his simple little joke. It seemed this wolf was all too easy to please which he tucked away at the back of his brain in his continual research on this club owner, ready to use any small details he would need later to try and pry his way through the man’s brain to get the facts he needed on this city. The vampire had struck fucking gold tonight by entering inside the building. The vampire had only planned on haunting Kaya’s establishment. Stick to the shadows as he listened in on the employees and pieced together slowly the lifestyle of their boss and the inhabitants of the attendees. Possibly locate some of the Greybacks members and try to understand the mumblings of werewolf talk to dissect anything important that was related to their leaders. Knowing he would be able to simply sit, drink, smoke, and chat up with a lovely little thing wanted to make the vampire smile wickedly to himself. Maybe even laugh at how absurdly easy it suddenly became to find out more about his enemy. The vampire had always been considered an idiot with a punchable face with how he walked the world with a smug grin and an easy sort of lifestyle. In reality he just managed to always find luck always come his way and it was all so sweet that good graces came even still.
He inhaled another puff as Sai talked about Kaya and how the pair of them used to be friends. A brow quirked interest as he grinned towards the other at the knowledge he fucked up the relationships with the little vampire down the road. It wasn’t all too surprising. Sai was definitely part of the loud and obnoxious scene if the interior of his business had any reflection on what type of man he was. Certainly not up the standard his of sweet little blood sister who cozied up pretty damn quick with the uppity crowd that was the Royals. Tico took a sip of his scotch as the wolf made mentions of the snobbish interior of the vampire’s club, grunting as he wasn’t surprised. The little bitch’s personal taste was always luxurious. “Face value speaks volumes. Where’s the fun in hiding your sexual nature when you can be this loud about it.” The vampire said with a wink towards the wolf before looking down towards the stage as he heard the telltale signs of the men backstage getting ready to put on the show. He chose at that moment to ignore the pretty little girl who came back with glasses. He wanted to reserve his attention for the high ranked wolf of the Greybacks and let them both be aware of who he would rather be chatting it up this evening as he wasted his fun money drinking their expensive booze and sitting in their expensive seats. For the information he would surely get, it was all going to be worth it. Red eyes looked towards Sai and Tico smiled, getting comfortable in his seat as the curtain started to draw up. The man couldn’t help but chuckle at the men in naught but some skin colored garments to hide their bits and the instruments to give the display they were naked. He downed the rest of what was in his drink when the wolf asked him how long he planned to be in the club. There was a pause as the vampire set the glass down and looked towards the pair that the waitress had left. He tucked the drag between his lips and took in a breath as he grabbed at the scotch to fill both glasses. He grabbed at both glasses after setting the scotch down and dragged one over towards his little companion, smirking towards him with a raised brow as though daring him. “Guess that depends on you, doesn’t it, Sai?” Tico asked between busied lips as the cig bounced with the words. He taunted the wolf as he twirled the drink slowly, watching the colors bounce between the brown liquid and the glass. “It’s not often I get the pleasure of talking to someone who knows how this shit works.” He started, glancing his eyes around the club to indicate the business. “Even rarer when they’re not a verdammnt snot of a vampire. So maybe I’m just being greedy by wanting you to keep me company instead of letting you run your place. But hey.” Tico added with a shrug and a laugh. “I am a leech.”

Sai couldn't help but feel a surge in confidence as his new friend leant in and spoke in such a smooth tone whilst sliding a glass of expensive scotch in his direction. Not that his confidence ever needed much help but the bar owner could do little to restrain the single bark of an appreciative laugh at the playful response to his question. All depended on him hmm? "Well I do have a tendancy to know what people want..." his amused tone quickly slid into matching the other man's sultry hinted air, dipping his head toward the vampire whilst his hand stretched out to grasp the offered beverage. But perhaps in these situations, it was more about knowing what -he- wanted. Everything could be solved with a body pressed up against yours in Sai's opinion. Apparently not according to his Alpha but whatever. He overlooked that strangeness due to her exceptionally boring and efficient leadership.
Sai kept soaking in the vampire's voice and watched as his cigarette toggled about so nicely in between his lips as he spoke. With his stroked ego, it became rather effortless to recline back into the lounge, a long drain of his drink sending a river of warmth down his throat before rolling his shoulders back in the natural progression of draping one arm behind the pair to rest atop the lounge's back. His fingers were daring him to ghost their tips across the top of the businessman's far shoulder but his hand paused as the conversation continued. The werewolf was admittedly prioritising getting his rocks off but was not entirely blind either. Another amused grunt left him which was followed by a shorter sip of liquor. "I mean. You might actually get along with her and her sense of style. Considering you have the same colour hair and all," it was an ironic point that he was just happening upon. And those ruby red eyes. Well perhaps they were a slightly different shade. It was hard to tell in the lower lighting and neon back lights of his club. And because his own soft brown gaze was having trouble just keeping his focus on the man's face and not his slacks. To follow up the point of Tico and Kaya's peculiar similarity, the Beta wolf's fingers instead lazily curled forward and smoothed the back of his knuckles up through the other man's hair at the top of his neck while watching him with a smirk.
"You are a bit of a leech aren't you. Waltzing in here. Using up all my time with such A grade banter," it was a sarcastic and flirtacious tone that allowed his head to roll back for a short moment to perhaps subconsciously expose his neck in temptation and seduction, before tilting back forward. He'd been with enough vampires to know their basic perversions. The crowd that was growing below erupted into a small applause and a few hollered cat calls at the men on stage who busied themselves in playing into the next song choice, but it was all beginning to become a little muffled and unimportant in the background as Sai's attention remained well maintained by the visitor. "Then again, how can a lowly little horn dog say that he is any better," he flashed a smile and remained close, bringing his scotch up to his mouth once more but allowing his tongue to drag a little along the edge of the glass along with his bottom lip, before finally taking another drink. His eyes with small smiling creases didn't faulter as they watched Tico's in return, bringing the same daring energy that the vampire had brought with him this evening.
